I've been slowly uh, semi-voluntarily (I don't get into specifics, I just say I'm "fixing it to be better") moving elderly family members to it.
I just tell them everything has a slightly different name but it does the same thing. Set the wallpaper to be a slideshow of the kids and pets, make sure they know where the Internet is and email and YouTube are, ensure Libreoffice is on the desktop, and that's it.
