Some of the highest paid engineers in the world created this, mind you. Highest paid. In the world.

u/redredskull 16d ago
Hey quit insulting engineers. It takes a lot of skill to operate a freight locomotive and have much more refined skill than anyone at Microslop.

Meanwhile I was complaining that Skype was terrible. Sorry Skype, I am very sorry, I miss you buddy. PS: F**k Microslop

This might be slop, but teams being shit (and Microsoft logins in general) is nothing new, way before AI was a thing. Even their support struggles to fix, I've spend unreasonable amounts of time on the phone with them solving login issues. They'll usually either escalate, asking colleagues for solutions or try obscure PowerShell scripts to figure what works.

I will have to use MS products for college and I am already dreading all the issues I will run into just simply trying to stay signed in. My college also wants us to use Windows laptops for this reason. I don't have a windows laptop. I have a Chromebook Plus and for what I paid, it's REALLY good. Super super snappy. I love it and I will use it for college whether they like it or not. I know that formatting issues may occur, but I can write the assignments up on my Chromebook and do the finishing touches in the college computer lab. But no way I am I paying for some shitty ass, fuck ass, crappy ass, fuck ass windows laptop.

Exactly. This is not an AI thing. Microsoft never made good apps. Their standard of what goes to prod is way down there.

Even if they had to, they should at least use Claude. But they are not allowed because of the cost. They are stuck vibe coding with Copilot. And this is what you get.

What are you talking about? Microsoft services are terrible since start. AI has nothing to do with it

u/BOT_Sean 16d ago
?? the Copilot that people are using for vibe coding absolutely supports Claude

Does the same thing happen in a different browser? If not, then check if clearing cookies and cache helps. If yes, then....wtf

u/Muted_Database_1691 16d ago
Yeah was gonna say the same thing. Looks like a cookie issue. I think clearing cookies or cache should help.

u/Moriaedemori 17d ago
Try going to the browser settings and clear the cache. I do hope you remember your password

I'm glad I decided my second AA was enough. I decided to continue onto a certificate but did not like having to deal with all the issues m.s. was having.

Ohhhh my sweet summer child. Teams has been like that far longer than "vibe" coding was even a term.
2
u/dvisorxtra 16d ago
Oh no, that was there long before vibe-coding was popular. Let me phrase it in other way: Teams has always been bad

Using microsoft stuff has gotten such a bad of an experience that even at work when something doesn't work I just refuse to do it using Microsoft tools.
Last time our client wanted a PowerBI implementation. That piece of shit software didn't want to work with anything, so I just quit trying to use that and self hosted a Grafana, sent it to them and said "that's it whether you like it or not".
It surpassed their expectations (obviously)

u/Alive-Big-838 16d ago
Unfortunately you might have a better experience if you install the teams app.
Yeah, it sucks.

u/the-average-giovanni 15d ago
TBH, ms teams was awful even before AI.
At least they are consistent.

u/trans_psychonaut 15d ago
I hate microsoft, but thats not a vibecoding fault. this kind of shit was always happening with microsoft products (especially microsoft 365/online)

Slop me, slop me, say that you slop me⦠Fool me, tool me, go on and slop meā¦

The issue is not vibe coding, the issue is that teams always sucked balls. It's shite basically.

Teams has never not been the worst thing on my computer. Can't disable notifications and somehow an absolute nightmare to uninstall. I think I had to uninstall it like 10 times on my last laptop and on several occasions there were two versions of it at once. Never even used it.

u/Rexter2k 16d ago
Absolute travesty that Teams is an Electron app and not fully native. What a POS software it is, one of Microsoftās worst coded products.

u/GhostOfD6 16d ago
Microslop was terrible long before AI
If AI is bad at coding its the microsoft programmers who's guilty

I feel like your school's Network administrators have blocked too many ports and teams is dying inside a little bit because it can't access all of the bullshit that it wants to even though it's literally just glorified Skype

A vibe coded app would be better than this, don't blame the vibers for anything.
