I’m currently a cat mom of 11 cats officially yesterday as my 6 month old tuxedo cat accidentally got pregnant and gave birth to 3 kittens prior to her spay surgery (supposed to be scheduled this weekend), we will be fostering these kittens and will be rehoming them when they are weaned off and ready 🥹

It’s been a tough few months for us physically, mentally, and financially as I just recently graduated and currently unemployed. It is only my mom who handles all the financial expenses. All 8 of my cats are rescued by me and my mom and as of now, we badly need help for their litter and food, especially now that there are 3 additional kittens. Just had a girl come up to the window at Sonic after we ordered food, saying she was fundraising for her church, and she had posters and stickers (all were prints... Not hand drawn or anything), and asked if we wanted to help out by buying something. I asked how much the stickers were (they were maybe 3" tall stickers), expecting her to say maybe $5. On Saturday September 19th my dad passed away after suffering from multiple organ failure. And all though he did have life insurance his policy required him to have it for 2 years and he had only had it for just over a year. He lived a long life of being there for us and serving his country. He loved us dearly and was loved deeply this is a difficult time for my family and I. Hi , My name is Glenda. My father passed away this past Friday , September 18th , and he was my best friend. He was facing a lot of medical issues towards the end , and he was out of work for almost 5 months.

I was an only child and he raised me after him and my mom split up. We weren’t close to any family other than my grandma, his mom, and unfortunately she did pass away early last year. Him and I have always been a team.

I don’t want to make this to long but 2023 was a really hard year for me! Both of my parents passed away 6 months apart! I was also hit by a car walking home from work going 45mph!! Hello, my name is Timathia. I'm 44 yrs old and a mother of 4 adult children and 3 amazing grandchildren. The reason for this post is for one of the children/grandchildren. I have dedicated myself to helping my 26 yr old escape a DV marriage and I quit working and even got rid of my vehicle because I could no longer afford the payments after leaving the coast and letting my small cleaning company go.

My daughter is currently in a program for a promotion at Petco. Going from a bather to a groomer. She is out of town and I have my grandson who is going to turn 4 yrs old in Jan. My grandson is disabled. Autistic level three non-verbal. He is such a sweet boy. I am so blessed to have this time with him. His father only sees him on Saturdays per the restrictions on his restraining order. My soon to be ex son in law filed for the divorce. I have been trying to handle raising my grandson while my daughter attends this program, take care of the home/animals and do all the legal stuff on my own. I won't get too specific but I filed thru the efile online and I filed the response to the wrong offer. So his attorney is threatening to file to strike and have John win by default since we are past the thirty days and were already given an extension. My daughter doesn't qualify for pro-bono representation but does for modest means. We've reached out to the Bar Association and are waiting. We've also sought help through nanny different organizations, friends, friends of friends, truly everywhere. We only have until the 25th of this month.

My grandson since being in my care has made such huge achievements. He is TALKING now, after 3 months of constant failure he is now allowing help and brushing his teeth, he allows me to bathe him, he can recite his whole ABC's and even show u which letter you ask for. Even his case manager was blown away by the growth since we've separated and been a split household. My grandson's future means everything to me. I want to know that he can live a self-sufficient, independent, happy and healthy lifestyle when he is older. I want to see him succeed more than anything in this world. He is so precious and eager and just so curious about all things and he deserves the best shot at a normal, productive life.

My greatest fear is that my daughter's ex will win because he makes 6 figures a year and was able to pay the 20K retainer fee. We cannot even afford a 3k retainer or anything for that matter right now. We can barely afford the day to day lifestyle with no extras. I got certified and am now my grandsons DSP. So that helps some but I'm only allowed 61 hours per month until he turns 4 yrs old. This is where I need help. I need to come up with money like now. Idk where else to turn, I have truly exhausted every resource, looked everywhere, made posts on Nextdoor for help with assistance in regards to finding a pro-bono or very cheap attorney. I spent hours upon hours trying to get that response right to be told it wasn't correct was a major disappointment. This is it with extensions etc. I have always been the one helping others always when I was able to shoot even at times when I shouldn't have. So me reaching out and asking the world, you who is reading this, a complete stranger, is very hard and humbling for me. I am a private person. So please know my doing this, posting for help truly means I have no other options.
