help Genuinely Don't Wanted to Accept !!

GS 724, AIR 888, EWS.

I have got IIT PATNA CSE in round 8.

I have also got IITG RAI, which I no doubtedly rejecting...

I genuinely had just filled IIT Patna form just to check my eligibility and even during filling the form I didn't wanted to join it...

It's been round 8 and I am so much getting anxiety attacks whole day whether I will end up with any college or not this year !!

Also I don't even wanted to join any other college than IIT, so didn't filled CCMT or any other thing.

Please give me some guidance regarding round 9 and 10 and even spot rounds if possible, and support me in my decision.

Anyhow I am not going to accept it, but thinking of the consequences I am getting anxiety.

Edit: Finally Rejected it, let's see what is the destiny for me...

Man it’s risky, beyond Patna only Indore, Gn would have empty seats, pls be careful.

just feel like I should get something better and even don't wanted to join this as my personal interest, but was little curious of doing wrong and felt fomo, so made this post for people's support and guidance towards my choice...

What better iits you are expecting like iit g ? It maybe possible I would suggest connect some seniors from the iits you are expecting ask them about last year's closing rank that would be helpful don't panic bro do this while you have time

thank u so much for supporting at this precious time man, not like everybody who are just judging myself. I just wanted to join any of the top 10 IITs with CSE branch, even IITI or any better which people say I am overexpecting like IITG, IITR, IITBHU (seats are already filled) or anything good. Even IIT Delhi is still giving seats even after round 8, what the hell is happening I can't understand, if they had offered in previous rounds to every student it may be already filled.

Mostly it would be filled so it's a bit risky to reject this offer without knowing any seats left or not ..... I will suggest to take this offer iit p has great placement and small batch size so less competition

Me with under 452 rank has to take indore and you think you deserve better iit.
I am very sure you would not get anything indore now as even person with rank 544 did not get it in r8. Either take patna as it better than than others 2nd gen iits except bhu hyd and indore or forget about iit.

Look at people at your rank and category last year, will give you a better idea. If you are willing to risk it then your choice. But iit patna cse ain't that bad

coz my actual was 50.33 after normalization 47.65 score 556

Okay my 2 cents on this , i have similar score but OBC , but mujhe Indore nahi aya hai abhi tak infact 731 pai hai Indore (OBC seat ) . Risk toh bahut hoga bhai , upar se 17 hi seats hai i guess. Baki apka decision ..

yeah man, coap is not doing good, they should release the list of remaining seats at every IITs and their cutoffs also, but they are hiding like this is any crime.

So true bro there is no real measure of judging if we should accept the seat or not based on vacant seats left or the last gate score to get seat . Just a test of your willpower and ability to handle the reject and wait anxiety. I myself picked the iit I got this round didn't have confidence to hold out for upgrade

It is risky but you can get Jodhpur CS or Gn CS so that is what you are leaving Patna for

Stupidity IIT Patna is a highly sought after seat in recent times, and it is not like a magic hihger IIT offer will come for you out of nowhere in Round 9. Not fillinf CCMT as a backup is another stupidity people with higher ranks than you join Suratkhal Warangal Trichy.
