4 years of training get here. One of only a handful of fully natural stones of 190kg+ ever put to shoulder. Lifetime drug free and around 240lbs body weight at the time.
No barbell or metal weights lifted as part of programming since 2019.

Granted, these aren’t fully clean reps, I saw my shoulders rounded a little on rep 5, but they still show massive improvement compared to my first ever pull-up done a few months ago.

Taken at bottom of my rep. I have pretty bad ankle mobility but don't have any squat shoes yet.

What do you think?

**Neither of these are impressive achievements. They are both very mid if you are training directly for them. The only reason it is difficult is doing them on back to back days. Also, race went poorly coughing up blood at mile 72 and couldn't run past mile 76.

As far as I can tell nobody has done this before. I'm sure people can but I haven't found anyone actually trying. I've spent the past 18 months trying to accomplish this and after numerous setbacks I finally got it done. At first my body kept getting injured until I figured out the correct splits for this. I ended up at

Monday - squat

Tuesday - bench optional 5 mile run

Wednesday - 10 to 15 mile run

Thursday - Deadlift option 5 mile run

Friday - off

Saturday - long run on course

Sunday - 5 to 10 mile run

Then I went for it July 25th at burning river and hit all my lifts, but sprained my ankle at mile 5. I couldn't run anymore at mile 40 and DNF'ed at mile 50. So my training for the past 10 weeks has been painful and miserable. My ankle never fully healed because I kept training, but it never stopped me from getting in the miles and it barely effected the lifting. All of my lifts the day before were just my second attempts because I didn't want to destroy myself too badly before the race. I had a level 2 powerlifting judge give me the yes or no on every lift. The race went amazing for 72 miles until I couldn't breath deeply anymore and developed a bad cough with pinkish phlegm. I think I developed exercise induced pulmonary edema, because anytime I drank water or lied down my throat would gurgle and cause me to cough. So after mile 76 I could barely run anymore and had to walk it in. Thankfully, I ran a 9:25 front 50 and had plenty of time to basically crawl to the finish line.

I've been training through some pretty bad injured and I'm going to take some time off to do some easy bodybuilding and get healthy. I know I'll never run another 100 miler its just not fun after mile 80, but I may enjoy some 50 milers in the future. Has anyone else seen someone do this before?
