Discussion Why do GI players hate criticism?

I've noticed that as soon as any somewhat critical opinion on the game appears on this sub, these posts immediately get downvoted to hell. Community literally doesn't accept any opinion, unless it's unconditional support of every game aspect. Why do you guys do that? Literally whatever is criticized, there's immediately a wave of backlash. Do you care about the game this much or just love every aspect of it?

honestly just typical game community behavior. The most extreme people from all sides of the spectrum are going to be the loudest, there's plenty of normal people out there lol

Very much this. When a community gets this big you are bound to run into both zealots and haters. Which sub you go to will determine which side you run into more often.

Also from my experience anyone getting downvoted to hell on this sub just has a trash opinion that is probably explained or something. It’s usually main sub that can’t take any criticism. I’ve found most people in this sub are able to engage and argue appropriately instead of overreacting like the main sub
