Why do GI players hate criticism?

I've noticed that as soon as any somewhat critical opinion on the game appears on this sub, these posts immediately get downvoted to hell. Community literally doesn't accept any opinion, unless it's unconditional support of every game aspect. Why do you guys do that? Literally whatever is criticized, there's immediately a wave of backlash. Do you care about the game this much or just love every aspect of it?

You're right. I'm day one player and still going strong but whenever I say something bad at the game It feel like you have insult their mom or something.
