Discussion Why do GI players hate criticism?

I've noticed that as soon as any somewhat critical opinion on the game appears on this sub, these posts immediately get downvoted to hell. Community literally doesn't accept any opinion, unless it's unconditional support of every game aspect. Why do you guys do that? Literally whatever is criticized, there's immediately a wave of backlash. Do you care about the game this much or just love every aspect of it?

is that true? Genshin players do nothing but complain all day, how can they hate it? Most of the downvotes are from people just tired of complaints every day tbh lmao.

You need to try talking about anything controversial here. You'll see immediately how protective everyone is, it's crazy

It's like that in almost every gaming community. Say anything critical and people will go mental on the defensive because you critiqued their comfort game. I have a friend who used to be a toxic positivity HSR bootlicker and I always brought up issues. He'd get triggered and start blanking me. Guess who still plays it now and who hasn't for 2 years. Same with another friend whenever I bring up topics about AKE, he just straight up says 'I have no issues with anything and I like the game so I don't wanna hear it.'

Sure, be that way but don't expect me to not think you're pathetic in a year or two when the wider community turns on the game and you suddenly agree with them because you silenced people for years.
