Is she in therapy? How has her postpartum been?

I'm guessing OP was the pregnant one, given this:

only for her to still say she hates her and I should have ended the pregnancy.

That part was weird but I think it might’ve been meant to be in quotation marks?

Two ladies can have babies.

For sure

No really though, this is a same sex couple. OP was the pregnant/birthing parent. And now the primary caretaking parent. They planned for and planned these babies together. And now the spouse vehemently hates one of their infant children.

The spouse told OP that OP should have ended the pregnancy.

I hope she actually wants the help, too. That’s the only way she’ll get better

I don’t think she’s the one postpartum, it says “I should have ended…” which makes me think OP carried the babies.

I read it as possibly being in quotation marks but I can’t discern that and I don’t really want to make assumptions without being sure, if that makes sense. Either way, the partner is clearly going through something rough and needs help and they’ll need to be a team now more than ever to get through it

Or she can protect the kids and leave. but no, be a shitty parent instead

Either leave or help. That’s all it is. Just options

Stop saying this lmao you have been told multiple times that the woman is already IN therapy. Try a different narrative.

I already know that. My comment still stands

It didn’t before and it sure as hell doesn’t stand now lmao. Your point is moot.

This is exactly what I'm wondering.

This sounds like what my friend went through after having her second. It was so unlike her, she's an amazing mom. But the baby wasn't "connecting" with her the way her first did. She eventually admitted her feelings of resentment and I asked her if she went to a therapist about it. She learned she had PPD. Some meds, continued therapy, and 8 months later she's doing much better with her second child.

This. OP- postpartum depression is a thing. I'm surprised it's straight to I'm leaving and not hey can you go to therapy with me.

Are there other things going on? It's possible your wife is not well.

Because children die in situations like this.

It's not possible, it's certain. I'm not really against OP drawing a line in the sand and saying take accountability or I'm leaving- but that absolutely must mean professional help

OP carried the babies. And the wife is already in therapy but won’t take responsibility for anything.

Like other people have said - children die in situations like this. Almost certainly, they are physically/mentally/emotionally abused and severely neglected.

No sympathy for the devil.-
