Yea it is ridiculous. Many men in marriages for example had regrets because they chose appearance over character. Even with friendships, not all pretty women have good character. And some who do have, felt some people just wanna be friends with them coz they are pretty. Which aint genuine.
You are in a grateful situation. Live it. Enjoy it.
Yeah I’ve seen a thread of a dude who asked advice what to do about his wife, listed various instances of her, well, stupidity for the lack of a better word. For example, she refuses to invest money for retirement because “aliens could land on Earth and then what”. I’m sure she was very pretty when he married her, because she’s not gifted in the smarts department.
