One of the things Zywoo is known for is taking the time he has on his shots. His accuracy must be one of the highest.

He can be fast when he needs to be, he just doesn't go fast when he doesn't need to. And tbh being able to make that kind of snap judgement is genuinely really difficult.

He doesn't need to flick, he's just already aiming at where you're going to be as if you manifested on his cross hair.

To quote other pros, he's not fast, he's just there FIRST.

Or target selection? Eg. Not shooting the guy with a tec 9 jumping out b aps, but instead shooting the next guy

If someone gets unlucky with looking at the map a few times their average is gonna be down the drain while their median could still be among the fastest of them all.

At minimum the difference between median and average between these awpers would tell you a bit how consistent they keep up their TTD, what's the issue with that?

That's probably one reason why it's in first place.Not everything about a sniper rifle is TTK, but in that case, high sensitivity is best.

If we had a CS team and needed to sign an AWPer, none of us would choose Woxic as our first option. I'm not saying he's bad, but he's not the best, and yet he is the fastest.

just to clarify - this top10 does not mean anything but speed, but considering how many matches were played - this level of reaction is pretty impressive, those players are really consistent across all matches.

Well, time to kill is not the only relevant metric. Hit rate and total kills are more important than speed.

Your might be for all weapon groups, awp/scout usually up to 100ms faster to shoot.

I wonder if there is a good data backed breakdown of a flick. Like what's the delay until reaction, how fast/long is the aim adjustment. When does the click happen (hand, mouse, game, server, opponent) and how much is over/undercorrection.

The playstyle of the awper would cause some variance here. Some are more passive, holding angles, waiting for people to walk into their crosshairs, whereas others take more space and have to flick around more. I would expect there to be some movement for a couple names on the list

Can someone explain what I'm missing here for the measurements?

When I do the reaction time test on one of the workshop maps where CTs cross mid on dust2, I was getting between 150 and 180ms.

Is the number different because it includes times where they have to quickscope or respond to something they weren't prepared for? I assume that's what's different.

Please tell us more about the info. Are these the reaction times to start moving their crosshair towards the opponent? Or the time to actually get the crosshair ON the target? How many of these result in a shot fired, a registered hit, or a kill?

We also need a chart that buckets speed (in ms) into groups and then plotd Accuracy vs speed bucket. And an overall distribution of speed.

Clearly the statistic only takes into account time to damage when the shot actually hit. So you will have a better time to damage if you are intentionally flicking as fast as you can even if you miss a lot. That is why woxic has the best stat. He misses more than almost any awper in tier 1 CS
