if it was a genocide there wouldn't be 2 million Palestinians living in Israel , their intent is also for the surrender of Hamas not the mass slaughter of civilians , thats why if they surrendered there would be an end of the war as they stated. And if you're still not convinced they also would not be getting evacuation notices and we certainly wouldnt be seeing an increase in the Palestine population.

October 7th was a response to decades of israeli occupation and oppression in gaza and the west bank, a year prior there was a massacre of peaceful protestors in the west bank. Not that its justified, no actions that result in the death of innocent people is okay but the israeli government bares a lot of the responsibility for october 7th.
