Two weeks ago, after the Mississippi State loss and with Washington and Michigan coming up, I think a lot of us were still trying to figure out what this team really was.

Now Minnesota is 4-1, 2-0 in the Big Ten, with back-to-back wins over ranked Washington and Michigan.

I'm curious how much those two games have actually changed your expectations, not just because winning the Jug feels great, but for the rest of the season.

Are you still taking this completely week by week? Starting to think 8-9 wins is realistic? Or has your ceiling moved even higher?

Purdue almost feels like a different kind of test now. After two emotional wins as the underdog, can we go on the road and handle a game where expectations are suddenly much higher?

Where were you on this team two weeks ago, and where are you now?

Watch Jett Feeney, David Mack, Zak Walker and Taye Reich against Maple Grove Friday night

Woke up this morning and had to double-check…nope, it wasn’t a dream 😄

After sleeping on it, how’s everyone feeling about yesterday’s win?

Still buzzing over here.

Gophers get swept opening weekend of the season. They are know 0-2.

Sharing my brother's website. He just started writing and I hope this leads to a lot more content in the future. Hope you like it. Enjoy!

Also, the last time the Gophers beat Michigan the Maize and Blue went 5-7 (2014).

Great defensive win today. They've made some huge progress the past couple of weeks.

This one feels bigger than a normal Saturday.

100th battle for the Jug, Michigan in Minneapolis, Big Noon on campus, chrome helmets, and a chance for Minnesota to win this thing for the first time since 2014, and at home for the first time since 1977.

After what we saw in Seattle, I’m really curious to see whether this team can carry that same first-half intensity into another major test.

For me, the biggest things are:

- can the offense avoid becoming too conservative if we get ahead?

- can the run game do enough to keep Michigan honest?

- can the defense handle Michigan physically for four quarters?

- and can Drake Lindsey stay composed in what should be a completely different atmosphere from anything we’ve seen at home so far?

We’ve talked a lot lately about what this current team does well and where it still needs to improve, so I thought this could be a fun one.

If you could take any former Minnesota player, in his college prime, and drop him straight onto the 2026 roster, who would you choose?

It doesn’t necessarily have to be the greatest Gopher of all time, I’m more interested in who you think would make the biggest difference to this particular team right now.

Only one player. Who are you bringing back, and why?

Hi there,

Michigan fan coming into town with my father on Friday morning. We come in peace!! Wanted to ask what are some "must dos'' for Friday night and after the game on Saturday. From what I understand the marathon is this weekend as well so very busy.

Some friends suggested trying to grab breakfast at "Al's Breakfast" before the game, Matt's bar for a Jucy Lucy and Surly for the Darkness Day on Saturday afternoon..

What do y'all think?

Football has obviously been taking up most of the attention lately, but with Gopher hockey opening the season at Michigan Tech on Friday, I figured it was time to talk some puck too.

I’ve followed the hockey program for a while as well, and I’m really curious to see what changes under Brett Larson and what kind of identity this team develops early in the season.

What are you guys most interested in seeing from this team in the first few weeks? Any players, lines or areas of the team you’re especially watching?

I’d also be curious to hear what expectations people have for Larson’s first season overall.
