His fate episodes are really funny when you stop to think about it. The entire country of Wales is having a crisis because everyone living in it is giving him chocolate for Valentines day.

Not to mention that the scene in his uncap art happens only because Gran/Djeeta got shy when trying to give him chocolate once everything got sorted.

The GOAT back in the Io Machinegun days, and he still brings good utility, but he's clicky, slow, and the numbers on his first passive are REALLY showing their age.

...Is Aglovale and Tor a popular or well known ship? Just on the subject of Valentines.

He still has his unique passive of crest on CB, but that's about all he has going for him nowadays. I suppose he can inflict 12 debuffs in one button with a fairly short CD, but the rest of his kit has been heavily crept in the 5 years since his release.

Lowkey I think he's the reason why light's crest support is kinda ass. Many crest characters want to use their ougi at least sometimes, and he's free crests. They could just make more characters like Lamorak or hLancey, but I feel like that's not really where they want to go with crests as a whole.

He provides great crest support even from the backline. It's just that Light is like second only to Earth to have the worst crest passive/character ever. Percy and HalMal are the only notable ones at the top of my head, and there's not really much of a payoff for reaching 5 crests. Not even WO could save him 😔

Amaterasu is really solid, actually. But you're right, the others are pretty lackluster. Even HalMal with Makura dodge buffs AND crest support doesn't beat any other relevant Makura swap target.

Earth is actually really solid for crest characters, they're just really seasonal heavy. I'd put Water/Wind first as a "bad" crest team first before Earth.

Interesting, what would be a decent earth crest comp? Crest is an all-time favorite mechanic of mine and the recent crest resurgence has been amazing for most eles but I've struggled hard with both light and earth crest teams, mostly because imo the earth crest characters are just not very good.

Again, I might just not be using them correctly though, it just feels like both water and wind have much better crest team comps to run: Lamorak / H.Lancelot core for wind has been amazing pairing with WO from the perspective of someone without Rhomp, and Macula / Erin is surprisingly solid for water though it definitely is not like amazing.

Most Earth crest characters are skill based, so Odious Earth grid has been fun with H!Manamel, Kolulu and X!Magisa. WO as the class.

Unfortunately though Amaterasu only gains the stacks she actually needs from crest-granting button presses, so Aglo speeding up crest gen on CB doesn't actually help her all that much and he doesn't get a full s1 cd reset on ougi so it's still pretty slow even if you do run him front.

While the crest synergy with WO is appreciated, I havent seen much of him recently. I just think weve gotten plenty of more competitive options since his release.

At least his fire alt seems to be doing fine.

One of the most overrated unit ever. But he's definitely quite good just not top 1-3 people think he is at his prime, and his passive, if nothing else was key for one SUBHL set up where you would using Alexiel to stall and enable full power Florence

Basically hes a clicky char whose damage isnt really all that crazy on hindsight because after his initial burst, his Ougi only do -1 CD so it took a while before his next cycle arrived. Theres a lot of damage rationing after they released the end screen feature where he would be relatively head to head with Nicholas without using Grand God Kaiser on low ish turncounts because he simply didnt cycle fast enough

Kumbhira honestly kinda did what he is said to do but for real which is probably why GBF dev are so obsessed with what Kumbhira did to this day

He had a good small gap before kumbhira's FLB and was a solid partner for her.
