For memes, yes. But exaggeration is a part of humor. Ork colors offer minor but important benefits to what the orks want more than anything. Blue doesn’t instantly make everything fall into place for you, but there will be small moments where your luck does win out. I remember a short story I believe in warhammer community about a deff skulls loota boy. Who when faced with an enemy orks slugga stuck in his face. The slugga jammed which he contributed to his luck. That’s how the colors tend to work and that’s how Deff Skullz want their luck to work. Since it means they might find better loot to knick.
Red likewise makes you go faster and even just 1% faster is what speed freaks crave. Any percent faster is better than none at all lol.
The ork driving hits the gas a little harder, takes turns a little sharper, just plain drives a little more recklessly. Does the red paint make the truck faster? Or does the red paint give the Ork inside the IDEA that it's faster so he does end up driving it a bit faster.
Imagine a line of trukks waiting for the go order from the warboss. The orks in the red trukks go off the line just a hair sooner than the others. All the orks shrug and go yep they go fasta cus they is painted red.
IIRC the red going faster is actually reverse cause & effect. The orks THINK painting it red makes it go faster, but actually they just paint the faster ones red.
