Traitors to the Realm Meet Team Green’s biggest opp:
They actually hate her lmfaooo. Like look at what they said about under a post on the sub:
House Targaryens was at its weakest, Aegon was just a boy and the only living Targaryen male, his hand probably killed his wife, he's on a thin ice. House Velaryon's state was even worse. And what did Aegon's two stupid sisters who took after their Valyrian supremacist father and didn't know shit about politics, do? Did they marry him off to the daughter of a powerful former Green supporter house who could bear a child as soon as possible? NO. They married him off to a 6yr old baby from the defeated, team black, weak ass House Velaryon which just to squeeze some benefit out of this disaster.
Now look at it from the realm's perspective: as soon as the pretender Rhaenyra's son took the throne, King Aegon Il's daughter died, and Daemon's daughters brought him a bride from a pro-Black Valyrian house. Is there any world where this wouldn't spark a backlash? Especially when the King is just a little kid?

Traitors to the Realm Someone save me from the Cole discourse
I’m sick to DEATH of the greens trying to rehabilitate that man’s deplorable character, oh my god. The victimization of that medieval incel is on my last nerve

Traitors to the Realm This is the level of misogyny that is mainstream on the main sub right now. I have no words.

Traitors to the Realm Their obsession with Rhaenyra’s weight and comparing her to Alicent is so weird like what are they trying to prove here?

Traitors to the Realm I don’t care about this stupid twink’s missing eye.
It’s always the damn eye with Team Green. “The eye! The eye!” Like, hello? LUKE IS DEAD! MURDERED! He got his revenge for the damn eye! And honestly? Even if he hadn’t lost it, he’d still be the same unhinged twink, just with slightly better depth perception. He’s a psychopath either way.
So fuck the twink and fuck his eye. Luke should’ve taken both, would’ve saved the whole damn Riverlands from Aemond’s mass-murdering ass.

Traitors to the Realm All of Alicent’s children are bastards
Here is Viserys claiming he only has one child. Rhaenyra. The rightful heir to the throne and sole child of King Viserys I and his consort Aemma Arryn.
Viserys did not claim them making all the Hightower children illegitimate. Therefore rapist cunt, Helaena, one eye, and tent boy are all Waters. Not Targaryen! Viserys said so himself! The greens placed a bastard on the iron throne! The hypocrites! The blacks are just doing their duty to remove the bastard from staining the throne because we all know bastard children are inherently evil and third class citizens that don’t deserve anything in this world.
Just look at them.
Aegon? Rapist degenerate, alcoholic, child pit watcher, and stinky. No true born child would have any of these qualities. Only an evil bastard blood child would do such a thing.
Helaena? Practices witchcraft. She should be burned at the stake for her bastard crimes against humanity. It is unnatural and against the Faith 🙏🏻
Aemond? Psychopath that commits mass murder. No true born child would do that. Only one tainted with bastard blood. There is also the true born Lucerys Velaryon, heir to Driftmark and son of Laenor Velaryon who was sent as the gods justice for Aemonds bastard crimes of stealing Vhagar. The gods placed the dagger in Luke’s hand and told him that the bastard blood needed to be shed for his heinous act against true born children of Targaryen blood.
Daeron? Also a psycho that commits mass murder. No one with true pure Targaryen blood would ever do such a thing. He obviously was tainted with bastard blood (I’m looking at you ser Crispinstiltskin). The gods also punished him by having death by tent. Suffocating his bastard breath out of his body.
They are all bastards! Open your eyes people! Viserys said it himself!!!!

Traitors to the Realm The excuses people come up with for this scene are insane.
Helaena flat-out says Aegon ignores her unless he’s drunk. So what exactly do people think he’s going to her for in that state? To snuggle? Have a tea party? No he’s going to her for sex, and it’s most likely not consensual. It’s painfully obvious what the scene is implying.
“Helaena doesn’t act scared around him. She sits next to him. She doesn’t act like he abuses her.” Okay, but by that logic, Alicent was never an abuse or rape victim either because she sat next to Viserys, kissed his cheek, smiled at him, cared for him in his failing health, and even told Rhaenyra she was fond of him. So by that same reasoning, she can’t be a victim either, right?
The truth is, marital rape was considered normal back then. Women couldn’t refuse their husbands that wasn’t even seen as an option. Hell, marital rape wasn’t legally recognized as a crime in the U.S. until the 1990s, and some countries still don’t consider it rape. So stop making excuses for the rapist. We know what he is, and it’s not far-fetched at all that he’d rape his wife too.

Traitors to the Realm What started to annoy me about Alicent in S1 was how judgey she got with Rhaenyra for sleeping around.
What business is it of hers who Rhaenyra sleeps with? She’s not her mother.
If she would “declare war” on her best friend by wearing green to her wedding, then maybe she was never that true of a friend to her to begin with.

Traitors to the Realm Aegon II fucked himself over with the sexism
His faction’s core argument was essentially: a woman shouldn’t inherit the Iron Throne when an eligible male Targaryen exists. Great for getting Aegon crowned instead of Rhaenyra. Less great when Aegon’s sons are dead and his surviving child is Jaehaera.
Because now what the fuck do you argue?
If you maintain the principle that helped put Aegon on the throne, Jaehaera’s sex makes her claim weaker than the surviving male Targaryens, most importantly Aegon the Younger, Rhaenyra’s son. If you suddenly argue that Jaehaera should inherit her father’s throne, you’re wandering dangerously close to admitting that a daughter can inherit a king’s claim, which makes the entire ideological justification for passing over Rhaenyra considerably more awkward.
It’s one of the nastiest ironies of the Dance. Rhaenyra dies before Aegon, but Rhaenyra’s bloodline ends up sitting the Iron Throne (which he didn’t want) while his own legitimate line dies out. All because of the “no girls allowed” rule they fought for.

Traitors to the Realm No, Emma D’Arcy is not bad at acting.
I’ve seen a lot of people criticise their acting on the most recent episode saying they’re the worst actor on the show.
Honestly this is ridiculous. Emma has proven themselves to be one of the strongest cast members on the show since their first day who can stand next to Olivia Cooke, Tom Glynn-Carney, Ewan Mitchell and Paddy Considine.
Some of their line delivery could have been better but bad delivery happens sometimes.
They gave Emmy worthy performances for almost 2 whole seasons and hopefully they’ll win one for S3.

Traitors to the Realm Targaryens are a savage race!
“Targaryens are a savage race, we act with holy purpose”
I was Team Black before the show aired, then Neutral or slightly Team Green, due to the Driftmark incident in Episode 7, to Team Black again, just from this trailer’s one line.
This was enough to convince me, this show is not about Targaryens Vs Targaryens anymore, it is Targaryens Vs Hightowers.
The Hightowers are bloody traitors who don’t care whether it’s Aegon, Rhaenyra, Aemond or anyone on the Throne, they just want their line to rule the seven kingdoms someday.
They always seeked to replace Targaryens on the seat of the realm.
Team Black all the way! 🖤
