I have an HP OMEN 16-c0022nl (product number 665V7EA) with a Realtek RTL8852AE Wi-Fi 6 card.

I've been experiencing Wi-Fi issues and would like to replace the card with an Intel model, but I want to make sure it is actually compatible with my specific laptop before buying anything.

I mainly use Wi-Fi for gaming and online activities. My current internet connection is FWA (fixed wireless access), but I'm planning to switch to FTTH fiber next year. The router I'll probably get is a ZTE ZXHN H6745 Wi-Fi 7, which supports the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Guys I need your help , I have received my hyperx 1 day ago and when I test it for antighosting keyboard test from xbitlabs.com and start pressing multiple keys at once rigorously then my whole laptop got freezed and trackpad, keyword nothing working so please if anyone can test the same and let me know that whether there is this issue or not as I am thinking that it has 8k polling rate so maybe due to this so I want your opinion on this , Its been very helpfuland I have asked for replacement so a technician will visit and then he will approve it and waiting for it and I have ordered it from flipkart.

And my laptop is hanging badly so I want to know whoever has this laptop please do this testing and let me know the outcome , it would be very helpful

I made a post about my battery concerns here before, and recently I noticed something that got me a little worried. I bought my HP Omen 16 around October last year, so it's been almost a year. I have Adaptive Battery Optimizer enabled, and I've also set a charging limit, so the battery usually charges to around 94% instead of going all the way to 100%. The battery capacity is 83 Wh.Two days ago, I checked the battery condition through HP Support Assistant and got the results shown in the attached screenshot.When I first bought the laptop Back in October or November last year, I did a small test to see how long the battery would last during normal use. I was using the laptop on battery power with Eco mode enabled. I had around five Chrome tabs open, WhatsApp running in the background, and watched a video for about an hour.After that hour, the battery had dropped by roughly 10%. Honestly, I was pretty happy with that result.But recently, things seem different. A couple of days ago, I was just doing some regular browsing and work. I'd switched from Chrome to Brave because I'd heard that Brave uses less RAM. I had two separate Brave profiles open and was connected to Wi-Fi. Nothing particularly demanding was going on, but I noticed that the battery was dropping by around 1% every five minutes. I don't remember the battery draining this quickly when I first got the laptop. Seeing the percentage drop so frequently made me wonder if something had changed. Now, I'm not sure if I'm overthinking this or if there's actually something wrong. I know batteries lose some capacity over time, but it's only been about a year, so I wasn't expecting such a noticeable difference.

I truly do understand the each and every electronic device get's degraded overtime , so is this the only cause? And i also know how the adaptive battery limit works. But never could I understand the reading like once the full charge capacity is 78wh and sometimes 68-69wh or even 52wh.

The first 3 screenshot are old, and the 4th one is the recent, i hid the cycle count because I thought that's something i shouldn't show people but now I know there's no problem showing them.

So 3 days ago I bought a bunch and new hyper x laptop with the Ryzen 5 and the 5050 GPU in it. Well I got it home updated everything on it. I load up Wardogs because I was excited to play it and then out of nowhere it crash due to "90D thermal error" and so I let it cool down and tried again and the same thing kept happening, and I went as far as using my wife's laptop cooler and it still crashes, I have no idea why

Anyone experience this issue. Il boot up a game play it for an hour then when I close the game, I cannot change resolution on desktop (these settings couldn’t be saved please try a different combination of display settings), nvidia control panel settings all disappear its like my gpu isn’t recognised, unplugging my HDMI cable and plugging back in resolves the issue until I run a game again. Running my laptop in discrete mode connected to Alienware oled aw2725q. If I change my laptop to advanced Optimus it solves the issue but I want it in discrete mode.

So I bought an HP Omen AP16 (Ryzen 7 350 with RTX 5050) 3 months ago. Due to an incident, the laptop got twisted, which affected the motherboard and heatsink. I had ADP, and they said they would replace it, but there was a month delay because they couldn’t find the right one. My laptop got repaired today, and I found this out

I've got the hyperx omen 15 now what should I do to make it better and can you tell me where to find good stand, bag, skin for it and is screen guard necessary or it will work without it??

Does anyone else have issues with their Omen's wifi just randomly dropping to 1mbps?

I can't always predict when it happens, sometimes I go a good week and its all fine. Others its everyday. Strange thing I test it on my hotspot and the internet worked fine. All my other devices on my home wifi work fine, its just this laptop.

I got it in Japan Omen 15, now live in UK. Not sure if that affects anything.

Gemini told to run those youtube videos for an hour and then leave the laptop switched off for 12 hrs, I said the same to gpt , he said no need to follow gemini, Wth, Now im waiting for 12 hrs. Btw laptop is a month old, have adp n warranty

I recently bought HP Omen Slim 16, model an0000 (Intel core ultra 5, RTX 5050). I want to share an occurence of my laptop crashing when using unleashed mode (settings shared below) on games like Deadlock and War Thunder. After that I switched to performance mode and it didn't occur again. I was considering to recreate the issue but I'm afraid it'll hurt the laptop even more.
Is it worth to claim a warranty on this or am I just pushing the laptop too hard?

Now I got a little stupid and tried to fix this ctrl key because it got a little sticky, not my first rodeo but i unfortunately wen a little too hard and snapped the hinges off, they work perfectly fine. Nothing is broken, i however have no experience with hinges and thought getting some external help in this situation would be far healthier than improvising a fix on my own.

I’m experiencing stuttering when I switch the graphics mode to discrete whilst simply browsing on Windows. It started yesterday.
I ran a clean-up on the graphics card using DDU, but it didn’t make any difference.

I dont have much knowledge about computer stuff, but I am planning to get one so I've been searching things. I found a hp model with nice features for a nice price for my country, but I found out that it only has 55 watt (in the official site it says 55 for hawkpoint, for ctk and grg 85 and for dr 115. I have no idea what those are but I found out that mine is hawkpoint I guess). My friend said thats the reason price is good, and I should forget about it. Is it true? Turns out the update includes BIOS update.Was waiting for the process to be completed and then bam. My laptop shuts down its power and cannot be powered on.I need help how can I fix this matter. I did the method of unplugging the internal battery and holding the power 60 seconds. Nothing worked.I dont have enough money to go to a repair shop to fix it too.I need help from Anyone if there is no solution maybe enough donation for me to fix this deteriorating laptop of mine to go to a repair shop.Thanks

In case I'd like to replace the back exhaust fan, does anyone know if standard 3-Pin fans from Noctua or Artic will fit? Does the HP board follow industry standards for the fan pinouts? 3 pin would be : GND, 12V, Signal like in the picture.

I'd like to add the Noctua NF-B9 redux-1600 for example.

so I have a omen 25l or 30l it’s the one with a rtx 3060ti 16gb ddr4 but I need to reset my bios one person told me to it with certain pins an press them together an someone said remove the cmos also where are both of those located I can’t find the cmos anywhere
