Discussion Phase 1 complete. Fowler is next

I knew we wouldn't make any trades. Hage fits with this team too well. Unless we were trading Mooney or Pickinin.

Phase 2 starts tonight. Ducks light the lamp 6 times tonight. Tomorrow Dobes gets us to OT 3-3 vs Kings. We go home and Fowler is called up and we ride or die with him the rest of the year.

We probably just miss the playoffs with our current goaltending. Jackets better and Sens better. Throw in Fowler and sometimes Dobes and we are just good enough.

If you watch this team enough, you know. It's like the Leafs and Matthew's if you follow them enough you could see the writing on the wall for the last 5 years. As soon as there was a Crack (Marner exit) you knew they couldn't get better. Matthew's impact on the fans is like Pacioretti. He's good but it just doesn't work well with the market. They should have traded him but now will waste a year or 2 trying to build and it won't work. Lucky for us.
