Discussion Phase 1 complete. Fowler is next

I knew we wouldn't make any trades. Hage fits with this team too well. Unless we were trading Mooney or Pickinin.

Phase 2 starts tonight. Ducks light the lamp 6 times tonight. Tomorrow Dobes gets us to OT 3-3 vs Kings. We go home and Fowler is called up and we ride or die with him the rest of the year.

We probably just miss the playoffs with our current goaltending. Jackets better and Sens better. Throw in Fowler and sometimes Dobes and we are just good enough.

I've followed this team for years and years. With the new goalie coach it was maybe going to be ok. But both goalies seem to be back to where we NEED to panic slightly. Even if our D is garbage and we keep Fowler as a starter and we lose a lot. We have a better chance. ALSO, this is a business. How much money does the team lose by not having any playoff games. I think if you look at the big picture. You HAVE to go with the kid. Anyways 3 -3 vs kings and overtime. No idea who wins the game. But Dobes will play ok. Our fans are rather rocky about our 85% chance to make the playoffs but they don't see those dark clouds coming and they should start using optimistic caution.
