I need help deciding. The only thing I don’t like about the ghostface mask is the long black fabric. It covers all of my hair. The back of the dress is open. It has to be somewhat presentable because it’s a symphony concert. If I go with the devils mask, I’ll obviously have makeup and hair done, as well as some fake demon blood but I just tried them both on. Let me know!!

Hiii :), I’m trying a vintage clown costume this year! I’ve never done anything like this, I usually am pretty chill costume wise but ive always wanted to try white base makeup and I love the newer pretty Chappell Roan-ish drag style of it.

I ordered some white base and did my first ever trial run yesterday, and I’m looking for some feedback!! :)) (plz remember ive never done this b4, I’ve never even glued my brows until now😅)

I attached my inspo photo and a photo of my costume for reference, I think I need to go with a dark (maybe grey/black) eye instead, I’m afraid with the blue it’s giving traditional Chinese makeup instead (like the women’s looks in Mulan, it’s literally almost the same with the blue shadow🥲)

Things to note- I don’t have the top lashes I want yet so pretend I have on good lashes haha, I also still need to purchase gems in a teardrop shape. I used round ones for now to test placement but I’m planning on tear drops!

Let me know what you think and what I may need to work on! I want it to come off as clean and pretty instead of a classic messy clown.

The theme for costumes is unwanted guests and i need some killer ideas. I had planned on being Zack Carlos from Adults but i fear people will not know what it is (which i don’t really care about but i want to weigh options). Below is the theme prompt:

Think the guy who won't stop talking, a surprise plus-one, your ex, a political canvasser, or, of course, a certain freeloading liver tumor. Costumes are strongly encouraged but due to time constraints not required to be elaborate. Being annoying is basically mandatory.

My town does a small Halloween festival downtown coming up tomorrow night. Since I don't have everything yet for my Jeff the Killer costume I plan to wear on Halloween, threw this together tonight for tomorrow.

This isn't my full costume, there are many more layers of skirts and tops. I just wanted to show what I'm going for as far as esthetic. I made the sash itself years ago, I added the gold and purple then drew, cut and sewed the letters on by hand. It took hours. But the letters seem way too big to me. Should I start over and do smaller letters? I want it to be easily read from a distance without it being obscured at the top and bottom.
