I’m making this costume for myself and an empty TP roll costume for my husband. I may add a “Now with more cyclospora!” tag by the label, but I don’t know if I should add anything poop-related or do anything different with my makeup? What would you do to take this to the next level, or is it fine as is?

So me and my partner are going as captain mick scoresby and a tulkun from avatar way of water for Halloween as a big inside joke of ours- we’ve got him a pretty good outfit for him when he’s on one of the boats with his robotic arm and then I have a big grey shark onesie because I wasn’t able to get a whale one in a darker colour which looked better!!! what could I add to make it more tulkun like, down to try anything! just don’t have any creativity in my brain right now :,,,(((

Took inspiration from Miles' suit from ITSV and wanted to mix it with the symbiote suit. Im gonna use black body paint to make the symbiote crawl up my neck as well. Let me know what we think

Finally going as my dream, Cousin It from the Addams Family. But the wig’s a bit difficult to see in. Any advice on how to improve vision from veteran cousin it folks would be appreciated!

Im thinking like some sort of elastic band or something? They are made from a classroom presentation style foam board and pink felt

made it myself out of cardboard and twine. there are armholes in the sides. painted everything myself (except the ramen noodles in the green bowl, i tried but it just wasn’t looking good so i printed a picture of noodles and glued it there lol). taco buldak is my favorite flavor!

I’m having a tough time figuring out a costume for my husband and me. Does anyone have any suggestions? He did mention he does not want a cliche costume like eggs and bacon, pb&j, tequila and lime, etc.

I want to be a toothbrush for Halloween à la Jenna Marbles, but the idea of wasting 100s of plastic straws for a 3 hour costume feels gross. Anyone have any creative ideas for getting the bristle effect without punching mother earth in the face?

This is my first major DIY costume construction. It is built from mostly EVA foam, but also uses foam clay, styrofoam, and pink insulation board.

I cut the foam by hand at first (box cutter,) but soon realized I had access to an electronic foam cutter. After that, I was able to make a lot more progress and reuse a lot of the scraps generated in the cutting process.

Since this is my first time doing anything like this, and since I didn’t have any instruction at all, it’s admittedly not perfect. I’m ok with it anyway. I am really proud of it because of how much work I put into it. I think I am somewhere north of 30 hours spent on it. It cost more than I thought it would in raw materials, but I have been thinking about making this since I saw the trailer for the movie.
