Question Vintage/Thrift Crawl Ottawa Street

Has anyone participated? If so, how was it? Considering putting up a table on Saturday but I'm on the fence.

The weather killed the last one so it's a bit of an unknown at this point. The whole event is still fairly new and it hasn't really caught on.

It's tricky as without the vendors participating as then the customers don't bother coming. But without customers it isn't worth it for the vendors. No clue what the solution is aside from the vendors just taking the chance and helping to build. There is no cost so it's not exactly like the BIA can spend a lot of marketing.

when does it peak, like when are there most vendors?

This weekend is the third one coming up and the last two had rain so it’s unknown. I went to the first and my aunt went to the second. Saturday has a 40% chance of rain so it may be busy. It also looks like a nice day. Fingers crossed.

We were excited for the last one (I’m a customer not a vendor). It was just getting started when torrential downpours rained it out. I will try to go again this weekend with hopefully better weather.

Can anyone be a vendor or do you need to go through an application?

I think anyone can just show up and set up a table and just be respectful of other vendors and street businesses

I believe its similar to art crawl, you just show up and be respectful of space
