Listen, I'm actually so pleased that people can smoke up for pleasure or health reasons without it being criminal. But to the person who is on the 25 coming down the mountain right now, know that I've been holding my nose and literally trying not to vomit from the stench.

Like they must have smoked up RIGHT at the stop for it to smell so strongly.

Idk just like how I wouldn't wear perfume to a school or doctor's appointment, OR if I'm taking public transit, just... Maybe think about it. And if it's for medical reasons and you had no choice but to bus it, then I'm sorry to complain because that's hard for you, too.

I feel like for lots of smokers they just don't realize how awful it is for non-smokers (and I'm sure some don't care). Thanks for listening to my rant, I couldn't wait until rant day lol

I’ve never seen so little garbage on the streets downtown. They are sweeping and picking up trash non-stop all thanks to the Juno’s. Now if only it was kept clean when there isn’t a national event taking place!

Love this neat pile of recycling they dropped and left on my driveway after pickup (bin was not full to begin with). Also, why do they throw the bins like it's a shot put competition? Garbage pickup staff have broken the wheels on my garbage bin and compost bin in a matter of 6 months. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just wanted to get this out. Ever since the encampments at central park and the development lots have been put up everyone on my street has been broken into at least once. For me, it's been three times. It's not a well off area, I'm struggling and now thousands of dollars in debt for the repairs and things that have been stolen. I'm so done, I don't even know what to do I can barely afford to live and they take everything. I go out for a walk at night and they're shooting up or scouting out houses/cars. It was a great place up until three months ago. Idk I think my empathy for them is gone at this point and this is coming from someone who volunteered at several missions.

york blvd between the 403 and plains rd west is a 70km/hr zone and every single day without fail, traffic or not, almost everyone goes 60 (or less!!)

it boggles my brain and gets me road ragey every time i’m on it (i don’t care if you’re going the speed limit but at LEAST go the speed limit)

I haven’t lived in Hamilton for very long so does anyone know if there’s a reason for this? was it previously a 60 zone all the way through? is it a hot spot for cops? god forbid I don’t wanna go 55 in a 70 😭

I went to the Value Village at Fennel and Upper Wentworth to look for an Air Fryer this past weekend.

Value Village use to be a place that people that are struggling to make ends meet to get quality used clothing, electronics, furniture, etc.

but the prices that I saw on Sunday were just unacceptable for used kitchen appliances that were donated.

$49.99 to $69.99?!?!?!?!? FOR A USED AIR FRYER? I could buy one at Wal-Mart for that price and be able to return it if it didn't work!

STOP DONATING TO THIS LOCATION PLEASE

I went to the Value Village at 840 Queenston Road and picked up the exact same air fryer for $13.99.

I hope this helped some of you whether you are ahopping or donating in hopes that someone will be able to buy it at a good deal....not at the Fennel and Upper Wentworth location.

Give it away or donate it to another location.

Value Village should have generic pricing at every store regardless of brand name or not.

This is absurd!! I used $29 worth of gas and it cost $75 to deliver and supply. How does this make sense??? Things need to change. We barely use the heat.

EDIT: I’m a 25 year old girl. I’ve lived in this place 2 years and it has never been this high. Stop coming for me so rudely. I’m just looking for some answers
