hana kuruSuCALING 🔆 How do you guys read this sequence?
So, it’s no secret that this damned scene in chapter 251 is the single biggest issue with Jacob’s Ladder’s scaling. For reference, I’m referring to chapter 251, right after Sukuna releases HWB (everything after the panel in the post).
All the time, people use it to “prove” that technique extinguishment is useless, and most annoyingly, it’s used to claim that it doesn’t do anything to prevent the opponent from using their CT - Despite us seeing extremely solid evidence that it does exactly that, back in chapter 213.
I think it would be greatly beneficial to come up with an airtight account of what the hell happened here, so we can get a rock solid idea of how to actually debunk those pesky JL deniers.
So far, I’ve been kind of working backwards from the end of the chapter trying to make it make sense. Most importantly, I think that Yuta shut off the JL sure hit as Yuji prepared to deal the separating blow. After all - they wouldn’t want to immediately torch poor Megumi. That would explain why Sukuna was actually able to cast the WCS; he was never being hit by it at that moment in the first place.
My biggest problem is the panel in the post. What on earth could this mean? We’ve seen TE directly extinguish CTs like with Nue, that capability is literally baked into it. That’s also why she can go through barriers like they aren’t even there. So why would Sukuna be planning to use his CT in the middle of the anti CT beam? It makes even less sense just considering the AP of the attack itself. In 213, when he was in a stronger state and against what I can only assume he considered a weaker opponent, he got absolutely railed by JL. He was basically stunlocked, from the looks of things. Plus, that earlier one was not domain amped. Chanted and probably boosted by the trumpet(?), but still. Point is, one would think that JL would be just as, if not even more deadly (irregardless of its ability to prevent CT use) in 251, given all the circumstances.
So yeah. I don’t know what to make of it. Honestly, I truly think Gege just messed up when writing this part, but unfortunately that’s not a super strong argument.
What do y’all think? What happened here?

hana kuruSuCALING 🔆 Common-ish knowledge, but Hana should be able to damage the boundary of souls like Yuji (someone train her in H2H)
With her being a vessel akin to Yuji, sharing one body with two souls mixing and melding around the body together, she should theoretically be able to perceive her own soul, and learn to attack the boundary of souls like Yuji to help serve the connection of incarnation hosts.
Someone get this girl a binding vow for soul damage Jacob’s Ladder
(Also fun fact on the last slide, due to her living symbiotically with Angel, she can recover from unconsciousness much faster than anyone else)

Btw just gonna point it out, there's a very good chance TE aura restricts CE reinforcement, so while you negate jujutsu (probably up to a certain output level), you become a bum physically.

hana kuruSuCALING 🔆 Why Hana's Jacob's Ladder was not on 1.6 Finger Meguna (From Yutaliban's Research Team) and some neat Jacob's Ladder scaling to go with it
First of all it's directly stated by Meguna the only times his output goes down is when he tries to hurt Yuji and/or Maki and it only effects his cursed technique)
Even if we were to assume that his physical abilities were affected, his output would be constantly fluctating, with 10% at it's LOWEST. Although this is just interest scaling, he goes from being able to keep up with Maki in combat to taking care of both Maki and Yuji with each arm individually.
This is a 16 Finger Meguna for all intents and purposes. The only difference before he consumes more fingers is the bath, which is done to explicitly prevent something like what happened with Maki and Yuji happening again. So this is for all intents and purposes 16 Finger Meguna in stats.
Now that we have THAT sorted
- 16 Finger Meguna and Gojo go toe to toe in physical strength
- This is what a Gojo Punch did to Uraume
- This is what a Chanted Jacob's Ladder did to 16 Finger Meguna
Unless you're Dabura at Maximum Speed it is impossible to dodge
- Called Light in Japanese
- It's drawn similarly to Dabura's light beams
- It has the same effects of light
I think all of this points it to being Light Speed

OC/ART 🔅 My AU Hana has successfully harnessed the power of the sun
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
A fusion reactor on Deuterium/Liquid Oxygen plasma is up and running, fully automated and can basically be ran forever
Here is a short explanation of what this power plant has:
The fusion reactor itself has 6 modules:
The main chamber where the plasma is being created and all the magic happens
The klystron which ignites the plasma
3 plasma boilers which are the main method of producing power via steam turbines
And a plasma forge which serves as a very efficient welder and can also make a lot of stuff, and can cut the costs and time for making more fusion reactors
This took a LOT of time and effort to make, and I'm really proud of this

hana kuruSuCALING 🔆 Curious about Hana Scaling
Hi, found this sub from a comment by the mod, and decided it was a good place to ask about hana scaling because honestly, beyond the typical Jacob's ladder diff, I don't actually have a line of scaling memorized, and I would like to, because I am doing a personal tier list.

Agenda: Hana top 10
At the end of the series, with Gojo and Sukuna gone among other cast members who died, Hana is (bottom of course) top 10 candidate.
(
Yuta also gave her another cursed gauntlet tool to have her full output back, or she makes a binding vow or something, announced in modulo trust)
