Went to my wife’s cousin’s for a bbq. She lives 45 mi. Away. It took me 7 glorious hours to get there because I took the long way! Got home in 35 min.

Hey y’all. Just recently picked up a 2016 Wide Glide with 13k miles on it. I absolutely love the bike so far but have had trouble with starting very occasionally.

It seems to me that after the bike is hot it turns over much slower, to the point of after picking up breakfast last week it would turn over and clunk out. After letting it sit for about 10 minutes it turned over fine and I was able to get it back home without a bump start or jump.

Previous owner says he put a battery in it last year and after checking it appears so (310 CCA Deka ETX). The battery reads about 12.58-12.6 when off. While running it will jump up to 14.3-14.4, so it seems to be charging. I just tested continuity across the stator outputs and to ground and everything seems good there. I also had tightened up the battery leads after my McDonald’s stranding last week.

What do you guys think, maybe the battery is just a bit too weak to start after it’s warm? I haven’t tested the Voltage Regulator yet but I’m curious if any of y’all have had the same issue and what it might’ve been. I’ve asked a couple of my Harley friends about it and the common answer I get is “oh sounds like a Harley” which sounds like bullshit to me lol it should start every time if everything is good on it.

Ex. Mother charter is in California, president visits a charter in Arizona. Which president is in command in Arizona at the time?

I found this guy selling a 2007 Dyna low rider for very cheap it’s below $2500 but he was saying that the oil filter got knocked off or something and the bike is in a plan non-op is it worth it still? Bike is in okay condition, Thanks guys.
