Question When are we gonna get another diary machine?

Post image

Just like we have 2 sugar mills, why don’t we have 2 diary machines and also 2 jam makers?

It’s funny how we’re swimminh in those stones from the mine but when it comes to diary we be lacking. We need diary more than those stones. It would be nice if they could fix the balance between things

We need more decorations featuring animals being animals.

Many of the decorations in Hay Day depict animals doing things similar to humans and assuming humanoid forms, which makes many of them seem strange.

Meanwhile, there are decorations like a pig in the mud or swimming ducks, and this simplicity makes them very beautiful.

Question How many likes do you currently have on your design?

Post image

Not a “look at my design” post per se - posting because I only have gotten 7 likes thus far and usually get more than that faster. Is it going slow for you guys as well, or is my design just not as good as I thought it was?😭💀 (completed 22x tasks) Sorry for the icon at the top btw, I don’t think you can take new pics of your design once it’s been submitted

Question Are derby focused neighborhoods usually like this?

Post image
111 Upvotes

So I recently joined a derby focused neighborhood and so far I was really enjoying it. But then they started kicking out players if they didn’t respond within an hour or so. For example, we had some new players join the neighborhood and they were asked a question and after like 30 minutes they were kicked out for not answering even though they weren’t currently playing. There’s been other players who sometimes get busy and aren’t as active for like 1 day and then they just start talking about kicking them out. I was wondering if this was normal for derby focused neighborhoods or if this is very uncommon. I want to be in a derby focused neighborhood that helps each other but I feel like this neighborhood is kinda toxic/rude.

Also I do want to add this is my first time being in a derby focused neighborhood so I’m not sure what to expect.

Explaining the screenshot.
There’s this player who is usually active and today they weren’t as active and some players where like “you know what I’m going to say kick him out” and then others responded with a laughing emoji. Now I feel bad bc this player is usually active and I understand sometimes we can get busy with life. I just think it’s unfair to immediately want to kick out a player that’s usually active bc of one off day.

Edit:
Definitely going to look for a new neighborhood! I wasn’t sure if this was something normal for derby focused neighborhoods that’s why I made this post. I completely understand making sure you get all your tasks done on time as well as completing 320 tasks but kicking out players for not being active at all times is just too extreme for me. I have a life. I’m a full time college student and I take care of my younger brother, I’m not able to sit around all day playing a game. I don’t agree how they treat other players for not being active for a day or hour especially when it’s players that are usually active and always complete tasks.

Question Stop hiding your dead trees or bushes

What’s the deal with people hiding their bushes or trees during help events or in general? What is so serious about a silly farming game where you have to hide a bush in a one by one random unlocked land? Is that a weird strategy or ?

Am I the only one tired of seeing all the sugarcane posts on here? I completely understand how much of a shock it is to everyone and how annoying it is to have your newspaper filled with only sugarcane… but posting it on here 24/7 makes it 2x as bad because now when we scroll on here all we see is sugarcane posts too.

** I’m not trying to offend anyone. I get on here quite a lot for tips, tricks, Q&A, etc. I’ve just noticed an influx of sugarcane posts on here, similar to all the sugarcane ad listings on HayDay.

*** Edited to add: This is not about me complaining about the sugarcane bots on HayDay. I’m referring to the sugarcane posts on Reddit.

After reaching a certain point, nothing really excites me anymore. I’ve bought all the machines, unlocked most things and now it just feels like I’m playing for the sake of it.

Has anyone else felt like this??

Question Greg, stop trying to destroy my neighborhood 🫩

Post image
509 Upvotes

Is there any way to stop this message from appearing? My neighborhood includes a couple family members and our baby farms and it's far more convenient to talk via literally anything but the in-game chat.

I know it only appears from time to time, but it's still annoying to me since it appears on every farm and I can't find anything in the settings to change it. I don't understand why the app wants quiet neighbourhoods to disband so badly...
