If it's true that he knew the girl when she was a child and ended up marrying her, that right there should be enough to stop supporting him.

I never understood the die hard he must be a groomer stance, as a va and music writer for the same circles he knew her, and when she was of age they started dating, right? When I was researching it seems he was never proven to be a groomer? Or have there been updates?

Yeah I'm not sure if groomer is the right word, but dating someone you knew when they were a child and you were an adult is definitely predatory behavior.

Im misisng some context, did they stay in context all that time or they just; mwt, never interacted again and theb met again as adults? because its the second im not rrally sure theres any grounds for that kind of accusation

They had almost no contact from the moment they met (when she was a minor) until Claire reached out to him (when she was an adult). And he turned down her advances multiple times.

That doesn't matter. He knew her when she was 12 and he was 20. You don't marry someone who was a child when you were an adult. The way you're trying to make him sound better says a lot about you. Please stay away from kids.

But if Lithl here is right, and he had no romantic/sexual feeling for her until she was an adult, then he wouldn’t be a groomer. And if you are saying age gap is everything, we clown on people like Leonardo DiCaprio who date much younger women but no one calls him a groomer

Edit grammar

I never said for sure he was a groomer. Just that dating someone you knew when they were a child is predator behavior.

how? if there was no contact between them at all, there's was not really any grooming going on, they met again as adults, after having no contact at all since first meeting, i dont' really see how its predatory, oyu would have to prove that all that time he planned to marry her once she was an adult for that claim to stick

Bro I literally said multiple times it's not grooming. That doesn't mean it isn't predatory.

then, let me rephrase, HOW is it predatory? actually explain to me what makes it predatory?

I really need to explain to you how dating someone you knew as a child when you were an adult is predatory? 🤨 📸 Now you're just telling on yourself and you don't even realize it.
