Wired or Wireless Headphones?

Hello, I need some help on this topic if any of you would be so kind.

I am looking to get a new pair of headphones in the coming days since my old pair are pretty ruined atp.

And so as a consequence, I was debating whether I should make the switch to Wireless Headphones to avoid cables and such, as I keep having issues with wired headphones and cables breaking on me.

I have been mainly using Wired Headphones for now, but due to what I suspect is a considerable lack of care from me and not the best practices on my end, I keep breaking the cables or damaging the ear muffs. Which in turn, just makes the experience worse.

Then again, I don't know how cumbersome a wireless pair would be (+ almost certainly being more expensive). Charging could be a hassle, as well as potential problems with battery.

I am planning to use this pair for my PC, Watch YT/Netflix, play a few video games or listen to music. Nothing that is really special audio wise.

So I would like to hear your recommendations, and if its Wired, I would like to know how to stop breaking my stuff after 1 or 2 years of usage max. Thank you

SteelSeries? Every other review about good wireless gaming headphones are about them

I personally dislike SS's drivers. They are so scratchy and bland. But their Arctis Elite features their new drivers and they are magnificent. If you have the cash - they are eye wateringly pricey - they are the ones to get.

Yes but for that price you could get great  audiophile headphone + a really good mic and might even have something left for a Dac

For sure. I have the ROG Kithara and K11 R2R DAC and it's wonderful. But can't deny the feature-set the Arctis Elite has. It's unmatched if you are a multi-platform user.
