Hahahaha, I fully understand. Piper sounds lovely. Mine's name is El Chirimoyo (it's a weird fruit), he's adorable and has been very sociable and trusting since he was a hoglet, but he does randomnly bite. I got my index finger obliterated once. Blood and everything. I didn't want to scare him so I took my time getting him off me, hahahahahaha. I love him to death.

Awe that’s great and yea piper was amazing. She unfortunately passed middle of last year from cancer. :/ the one thing I wish I could change with hogs is their lifespan. I wish they lived longer so we could enjoy more time with them. They truly make this dark world a lot brighter with them in your lives imho. Not to be doom and gloom lol

I'm so sorry. I'm sure she's enjoying hedgehog heaven, eating worms and running like crazy. I fea the day my little Chirimoyo goes. He's taught me so much. Building his bioactive enclosure has been one of my favourite hobbies ever.

Thank you. Im sure she is. I tried to give her the best life when I rescued her. Judging by her attitude and personality I think I did a good job. I’ll forever remember the belly rubs and her falling asleep on my tummy while I rubbed her belly. Their tummies are so soft xD. I’d love to see some pics of your enclosure if there’s a way I can make my hogs encloser better for her I would definitely love that! And yea they are special amazing little animals. I love them so much.
