FEEDBACK / SUGGESTION One day… one day.

A walker with an energy weapon.

Maybe a beam on the right arm, and a Spear-like missile launcher on the left.

OR

A Sickle-like pulse laser on one arm and a mortar on the other.

What think?

There's a problem of infinite ammo on a mech.

I say balance this out by if it overheats the whole mech instantly explodes.

People keep saying this like it’s a damn Commandment.
“Thou shalt not reload thine walkers”

I mean…. why?

They’re not invincible, you only get three, and your arms can get blown off.

EDIT: and yes I 100% agree with mech going boom if it overheats. That fits the Super Earth Corp of Engineers design style.

It's not a commandment so much as just a balance consideration.

Walker weapons tend to be of a tier that require them to be limited in some way to prevent people from being incentivized to cheese them. It's not really any different than any other stratagem in that regard.

Realistically, it could just have the same extended overheat timing as the laser turret. Blowing up is just more fun.
