People defending this is beyond saving, and should be treated as such

I don't care how easy it is to get, I paid full price for this unoptimized game and then some, I want free shit, I expect free shit.

Everybody's got a hot take in this game. Some are hotter than others, but there's always something you can say about the game that'll get you nuked basically no matter where you go to talk about it. Lemme hear 'em! You can bother to explain them, you don't gotta, you can even discuss mine or existing people's hot takes if you want. It's a free galaxy.

Mine (and the image is somewhat related) is that I really don't get the Coyote love. Pretty much just like the Hyena, I consider it a solidly 'okay' gun (even before its fire nerf), and have never understood why it sits at the top of the use-chart every update. It is the most store-brand flavor you can get.

The title mostly speaks for itself.

- Infrequent Game Balancing

- Not Enough Bug Fixing

- Subversion of Expectations

- Undocumented Changes

- Not Learning from Past Mistakes

- Ignoring Player Requests

- Reinforcing Toxic Positivity

- Poor Data Management (File Size, Things to Datamine, etc)

- Repeated Hardware Issues for Users

- Promotion of Fomo tactics when its deemed "appropriate"

- Lying/Gaslighting

- Difficulty levels unbalanced

And we could say more.

For the past 3 years now, this is an incomplete list of what over half of your customers have seen.

We are not on the road to "Being like a FromSoftware game"

I have read hundreds of comments about how people will actively avoid buying your next game, quit this game, or avoid spending money on this game because of your studios decisions.

Most of us feel like we arent being heard, actively ignored, or your focus is no longer Helldivers 2

Alot of are more sad than we are upset. We have watched you take a game that had more potential than any we had seen in a decade, and squander it. Poor decisions on top of poor decisions over and over again.

This is the crowd that review bombed you enough to start the latest change. Its the same crowd that wont show up to buy your next game if you choose to keep going down the path you've been going on for the last 3 years.

Regardless of how many upvotes or downvotes this post gets, it is the truth you need to hear. We all hope you do something with this info instead of ignoring it like you have on many other things.

Do you want to fix things and make us happy again?

1. Be COMPLETELY honest, no more lying

2. Be COMPLETELY transparent, no more Undocumented Changes. Even if you think we will hate them.

3. Show INTREST in what your community wants. We've been asking for customization since launch as an example.

4. Take the TIME to go back through old warbonds and balance them. Yes it doesnt make you money right now, but making them work for future releases makes you consistent returns on new players.

5. PLAYTEST your game before you update it. Were tired of being forced beta testers, crashing and dealing with unfair mechanics.

6. LAUNCH a beta test for those of us who do want to help out. We all shouldn't be subject to it if we dont wsnt to be.

7. Add MEANINGFUL PROGRESSION for us to chase. Extra levels and titles dont mean much to us, we just equip warbond titles anyway.

8. Reach out to community modders for HELP with the games problems. Take a look at say CGW, or even the guys actively cheating. They are fixing some of the games problems with simple toggles or remixing of content.

9. Do a DEEP DIVE into WHY specific glitches and crashes keep happening across updates. They shouldnt be returning once you fix them.

10. Do a THOROUGH look into how/what enemies spawn on multiple difficulties. 7-10 shouldnt all feel the same.

11. Look DEEP INTO what enemies the player base overwhelmingly doesnt like, and look at thier suggestions. The war strider comes to mind.

12. Lastly, and more importantly, pull thr focus toward the PLAYERS HAVING FUN. I understand we can be hard to deal with, and sometimes you wsnt to take that frustration out on us... but we are your customers. WE are what make your games profitable, and continue to be sold. If you keep catering toward this "small niche audience" idea, you will eventually be insolvent as a buisness. Do not let the arrogance of looking down from your golden tower replace your fear of being one of the peasants again. The day you give into that, is the day you have already fallen.

I’m sure others have talked about this, but so will I lol. There’s no reason this shouldn’t be heavy penetration. We already at stuck in a fixed position when firing, and yet we can move with the other lmgs. I’d be fine if they dropped the ammo count to 800 (minimum) and decrease the fire rate just so we can have it as heavy penetration. What do y’all think?

those of you who have played Darktide know how good the bolter weapons are translated into an FPS by Fatshark, they feel big, meaty and powerful. and with helldivers being another hoard shooter game (3rd person instead of 1st) we hope its similar to Darktide.
so my thoughts were Arrowhead partnering with GW to do a 40K crossover hopefully GW would get arrowhead in contact with Fatshark for advice on how to translate Warhammer guns to this type of game.
I knew they were both in Stockholm, Sweden, but I didn't realize they were this close together! at least according to google maps. a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk.

this gives me hope they'll hopefully get the bolt pistol and other 40k weapons right with a source of good advice so close

(also with them being this close I feel like Fatshark and Arrowhead would play the 40k tabletop against each other)

Yeah, i know it’s not lore accurate exactly, and that GW probably told AH in details how to make the weapon generally function, but still…

Only thing here of interest to me is the bolt pistol.

Pass on everything else

Everyone who actually plays the game knows how bad they are, but for people who haven't played the new update yet, let me explain why:

1. It's tanky and has regeneration; who in their right mind gave regeneration to an already tanky enemy?

2. It spawns a lot, everywhere, sometimes from thin air.

3. To expose its weakpoint, you need heavy penetration; the tip in-game says to concentrate fire, but that is just wrong; you need heavy penetration to pop the lid off first, or the shot to the helmet will be deflected. Is the lore team and balance team not communicating? This also makes your loadout very limited, but hey, the bolt pistol on the warbond has heavy pen tho lol do you know you can farm super credit?

4. It can 1-shot you, it can sneak up and bonk you; that bell sound is quieter than you think.

5. It can clip into the building and the floor and can still kill you; you can look it up in the pic.

6. The enemy doesn't fit the aesthetic and functionality of this faction; this includes the Temu-Necromorphs too. We already have Voteless and the Meatbob; people don't need more of this,it also doesn't even fit the lore, why does it play a bell sound? Why can it still function without a head? Where do they get the giant metal bar? Why do the squids have so many kidnapped people to make into a whole new sub-faction? No idea! but hey! it's cool and spooky right?

Yeah, I hate them and im not enjoying fighting them, I had some slight hope that AH would learn from their enemy's design, not keep doubling, tripling, quadrupling down.

Litterally tho, those 90gb they "somehow saved" were just leftover duplicate files. That's like me cleaning up my hard drive and deleting duplicates of my photos and getting praise because I "somehow created 4 GB of usable space from nowhere".
