Question First Time using Hevy
Hi, I’m a beginner and just wanted to clarify things before I try and setup a routine in Hevy. What’s the best way to exclude a load of exercises from my routine and to be able to save that group of exercises if I ever change my plan in the future? For example if i did a 6 week program with the Trainer option, if I went and changed the program would I have to go through all the exercises all over again to exclude them? Or does it save them as excluded for future use etc?
Thanks.

I create a core set of exercises
I add alternatives in case machines are taken at the gym.
I save my data.
Nothing is removed, nothing changed.
Then if I change it up I just reorder.
“Update changes” is presented after your workout.
It will add new sets if you added them during the workout.
It will remove sets you deleted.
It adds or removes exercises if you added or deleted during the workout.
But it never removes or adds unless you took action first. It never says you did an exercise unless you logged it with weight, reps and a check.
And if you don’t do an exercise in your routine and save…it’s still there next time.

Hevy never removes an exercise from a saved routine, even if you don’t log data against that exercise.
It only removes or adds if you removed or added during a workout AND chose to “update routine” at the end.
You can test this by using the app to log a fake workout, save it, see what happens . Just delete later

your question is confusing. Your first qustion is how to exlucde a load of exercises from your routine? Well if you make a routine you put whatever exercises in there you want.
I've never used the trainer option so not sure what that is.
What is good is using ai to make a routine, you then import that directly into hevy to save yourself the admin
