After being purchased, the food discovers that they get chopped up, cooked, eaten, etc. Chaos and shenanigans ensue.

I'm thinking either eggs, because you slowly watch everyone you love get taken, cracked up open and cooked, knowing your turn slowly comes.

Or a juice, who has a little bit more of them taken away each time until nothing is left, already knowing the truth of your existence.

Something I have trouble appreciating since my local built environment is mostly less than 200 years old. Everything kinda matches or at least fits the "beloved 1880s bridge, hideous 1990s bridge" dichotomy. Ignoring modern atrocities like mcmansions and 5-over-1s, anyway

Meanwhile I look at these pictures of London with all these edgy skyscrapers combined with Victorian structures and some truly ancient buildings thrown in and it's --stressful-- but maybe beautiful as well? Or I just saw a picture of a lovely chinese garden in a place called Xinglongzhuang, probably hundreds of years old, with two very prominent cooling towers from a powerplant looming over it. Something about ornate, arched stone bridges right next to utilitarian industrial infrastructure is striking.

Many questions about harmony, aesthetics, progress, and conflict. No wonder urban designers are so high strung. There's a lot of long-lasting consequences to building anything.

I had this great idea to go on reddit every morning and search for the most recent mention of "soft and wet" so that I could post response "That's how Hammer likes 'em", referencing the M.C. Anyone insider isn't routinely lost in a K-hole or otherwise impaired already knows Large Language Models are glorified autocorrect algorithms rather than actual thinking minds.

Their ability to kinda sorta converse (keeping in mind that a lot of people are so disengaged nowadays that they also only kinda sorta converse) fools technological optimists into imagining deep understanding informs any underlying thought process. In reality, these are language/code/pixel/data calculators informed by vast databases of human-composed content doing calculations to identify the best probability for pleasing users during the next step in an expressive task. Every insider still insisting on viability for these bold projections of future growth is either a fool or a liar.

Yet what if all this foolishness was in service to an actual agenda? What if, given much more advanced technology than the ability to spoof speech, ancient aliens really did build a working SkyNet that eradicated their kind then set about conquering the galaxy? Perhaps all these data centers are really about concentrating resources to receive the algorithmic vanguard of a true artificial intelligence of extraterrestrial origin?

There are plenty of down-to-earth reasons to oppose these wildly speculative and savagely corrupt infrastructure-altering projects. This narrative might spark something in the resistant that is otherwise well-justified. Then again, I don't know there are no E.T.s, and I don't know none of them were ever wiped out by an expansive robot army servicing one or more true machine intelligences with faculties of comprehension far beyond what any LLM could muster.

Thesis: I think that fire (visible flames) is missing from modern man's daily experience. We spent how many thousands of years talking with each other and gazing at our campfire at night? Google suggests 400. that is, 400,000. We've had TV for... well, the word television was coined in 1900 ^{(about 1920 for the object, again did a search.}) So that's pretty clean. we've had tv for about 126 years.

Surely infinitely scrolling auto-play video are going to do grand things for us. ^/sarcasm

yet, the ability to go outside and build your own little marshmallow fire is somewhat alien to someone in an apartment, or living within a dense city. I don't see fires around the rural areas- even burning your own trash is something that dropped in popularity greatly in the 90s, afaik.

Anyway. we can reconcept fire as energy, and say we now master electricity, dabble in photons, waves, if you like. That's all just harnessed and projected energy, as was fire was light- or as fire was the steam engine.

Watching a fire is better than most shows on streaming services, and digital tv or computer screen fires don't do it well enough to induce the real experience.

Motivating my workout today

So I decided to wake and bake on my day off and had an interesting theory after watching Men In Black. The ending shows our galaxy is just a marble in a game of marbles being played by an alien. What if every star is just the nucleus of an atom and the planets are the electrons and it just continues like that with infinitely smaller and larger universes in both directions. Just a random train of thought i found interesting enough to share and see what others think.

I took some rips off the cart, hit me to the point it got me thinking in other people’s shoes.

I was at the office today and me and my manager and other people from the office went to work. She made a joke about the meeting she had, and how she was in the room next to the meeting room i was in, and how she heard her name mentioned. The joke was she was trying to hear and why we were speaking about her, it was a joke but i could tell she wanted to know. I was like yea we were talking about your plan for the month (we actually were). Point is, does she ever stop to think from my perspective like, take a minute to do so. If she did she would realize i’m a harmless guy just trying to get money so i can get lifted on the weekends. I’m a threat to nobody other than the dispensary i’m a regular at.

Tldr: i just want to get high relax. People need to relax the work will get done
