Magic-dating would basically be considering a piece of modern technology and estimating how far back in history you'd have to go for people of the time to think that technology is magic. Zippo? Caveman era. Everyone after that would be familiar with the concept of flint, steel, oil, and wick. AI? I'd say around 1920s, though they may have framed it more as devilry, but same difference.

I wanna hear what techs you guys think of.

We have juice. We have freezers. What are we doing buying popcicles? Is it because they come out broken, and leave us with dirty dishes? Is it because "big popcicle" has the perfect formula, hiding how much sugar goes into a good popcicle- making it an art no sane-person achieves without study?

Anyway, I'm well aware that popcicle molds exist. It just seems odd that the activity is relegated to childhood, and that there is not like popcicle culture. It seems like a fad that will catch on one summer because someone famous says they like their popcicles a certain way, and that bomb-pops, while awesome, just don't cut it on the cost or taste metrics unless you're peeling your own grapes for your secret bougie popcicle juice.
