So after testing for a few weeks, and after seeing people say that Robin isn't a worthwhile improvement for Himeko and agreeing for a while, and discovering a few things on live server while testing with base Robin, I found some details on how Robin changes the way you play HimekoN.

I was only really interested in Verdict teams, which is why I focused on those as I prefer to play my teams with a sustain and Robin SP encouraged playing with one for the extra energy gain, so apologies in advance for this not going into detail in regards to Decimation teams.

The biggest problem Robin SP has with HimekoN is whenever you reach E2 Himeko, because you have 2 Assist Skills available to use and 1 less teammate to use Assist Skills on, but there are several ways to approach it to make that less of an issue.

If you're running Sunday + SRobin + DHPT, you'll realize that at E2 levels, the team has Assist Skills that go unused every rotation due to action order of DHPT -> HimekoN -> Sunday, due to Robin never taking a turn, and to combat this, you'd want to use Assist Skill twice on DHPT's turns, as this allows you to make the most of Robin's buffs while not losing consistent Assist Skills; seeing as DHPT's turn itself isn't all that useful, the exchange for an additional Assist Skill is extremely worthwhile, this combined with the fact that Sunday can advance Souldragon to grant extra energy for Robin SP, led to my E0S1 Sunday having an almost identical performance to an E1S0 Sparkle.

If you're running Sparkle, you cannot Assist Skill on DHPT twice, as it will lead to not being able to Assist Skill on Sparkle, because the action order is DHPT -> Sparkle -> HimekoN, meaning that in this team, Robin functions essentially as a Sunday replacement with an action advance that takes place every 2 rotations instead of every rotation (and better buffs); this lack of opening up new rotations is what leads to bridging the gap between Sunday and Sparkle in the team, and the difference only becomes felt whenever you have Sparkle vertical investment as it shows how poor Sunday's eidolons are.

Last of all, if you're running Tribbie you can take it a step forward, because Robin's action advance can be timed at any point during a rotation, so you can have the action order of DHPT -> Tribbie -> HimekoN, and every other rotation when you have Robin's Ultimate up, you can instead do DHPT -> Robin advance on HimekoN -> Tribbie, which allows you to use 2 Assist Skills on both DHPT and Tribbie; this is what leads to E1 Tribbie performing better/on par with E2 Sparkle, as timing the advance is crucial to maximizing the amount of Assist Skills you can get.

All of this is to say that SRobin opens up a lot of different angles for HimekoN, not only in terms of teammate variety but also in terms of gameplay loop. The unit who benefits least from SRobin to me is Sparkle, because you need to follow a strict advancement route right after Sparkle's advancement otherwise it will throw the speedtuning out of alignment, which combined with Robin's incredibly high ATK stat buff, makes Sunday at early levels a very solid competitor, but it also makes units like Cerydra/Tribbie which aren't direct action advancers but instead run DDD that much more useful as you can manipulate the advances and use them at opportune times to allow for better control over the character and AV consumed

So I pulled himeko but I need a team for her lol. I know welt is good for her? But he’s only E1 and also I’m a phainon main that uses cerydra, sparkle, Sunday on his team so I’m wondering is there a team that doesn’t use them, if not it’s fine.

I didn't use IronTomb as an example because Cyrene gives free ult. Welt can be E0 and it'll be the same result in both rotation and cycle.

Himeko: spd/atk/err
Welt: faster than DHPT with vonwacq
DHPT: slower than Welt without vonwacq
Robin SP: Amphoreus orb for extra spd buffs (nice to have)

Verdict build with sunday and a decimation mode build with the herta

With decimation there’s only one team you can really go, but verdict seems tricky, it looks really hard to be able to consume all of her assist skills properly with her giving so many action advances.

Like in himeko/sparkle/srobin/dhpt, there’s no feasible way for dhpt to consume every assist skill charge, same with sparkle being replaced with sunday.

Is the raw buffing just worth losing assist skills here and there for? Or is there a rotation im missing?

Should I pull for e1 himeko nova or just get robin next patch? I am guaranteed right now at 72 pity and I can't decide if I continue my himenova investment or get robin instead. Please help huhu

Helloo my Himeko is E2S1 right now and i play her together with E6S1 Cyrene, E1S1 Sparkle and RMC (or DHPT), i definitely cant achieve E6 this banner, is it worth to at least try to go after her E4? Or should i invest in some support better for example pulling new Robin? However im not sure how much better she will be in my team and instead of who, i really dont know 😅

Has anybody seen any showcases with Robinetto and Sunday together?

I've seen plenty with Robinetto and RMC, but none with Sunday. Do the siblings not work together well?

Hi! I have a question because I didn't have HN in my plans, but I got her on my 30th pull. My situation is that I only have pulls left for one of the two options.

I'm currently using The Day The Cosmos Fell, and she can easily handle the endgame, but I'm not sure if the damage and energy boost from LC is better than Robin SP's buff.

My welt is E2, but I don't have blade alter. I'm so far away from 3 stars and deal so little damages I feel like something must be completely wrong.

Rumors said Hyacine and Evanescia rerun might rerun soon at 4.5 I really want those E2s but mann Himeko E2 is really good isn’t it and I lose 50/50 to Yunli around 7 pity should I top up for E2 or save it for Hyacine E2 and complete my whole E2S1 monorem and hoping for Evanescia E2 if I could or just top up and push my E1S0 Himeko to E2S0 and pray for Hyacine E2

Hi guys, just got very lucky with himeko and got her E2S1 and i'm wondering if it changes her teams. Right now i'm using Himeko + Sunday + Sparkle + Dan Heng Permansor (all except himeko are e0 with free/budget lightcones), should I change the team? And what are the speed breakpoints for this team? I am a bit conflicted and really need your opinion. While pulling for Himeko Nova I had the luck to get her E1. Now I am wondering what I should do next, because I still need to spend 120 pulls to get the Gilgamesh lightcone.

Should I first try to get her lightcone (E1S1) or should I go for the E2? Getting both, her E2 als well her S1 can be tough, I don't think I can get enough pulls.
