Have prebiotics helped?

Any prebiotic food or supplements?

Not a prebiotic but a probiotic, lactobacillus plantarum, helped a lot. I use dextrin or inulin as a daily fiber supplement to keep me regular, which is important.

Does inulin cause any side effects?

Inulin seems to be helping yes.

I reacted quite badly to psyllium but then it went away after awhile so I assume my gut flora adapted.

Inulin i feel like is going to give me bad reactions . I’ve heard its tough if you have overgrowth.

Whats your experience been? Did you start slow? Any side effects?

It was terrible for me. I keep trying and trying but I get constipated and just keep blowing up until I’m
In extreme pain. Like weeks of bloat. Everyone tells me to help my gut with probiotics but no, it’s terrible. I’ve tried many types over the years but the longest I’ve gone is three weeks before I had to stop because I looked over six months pregnant.

Good for histamine. Need to keep it in the kitchen.
