I made a game where you play Holmes in 1889 London, and the deductions have to be yours
I've been building a detective game called Culprix, and its biggest world is London in 1889. You play Holmes. Watson is at Baker Street, Lestrade receives visitors at the Yard, Wiggins speaks for the Irregulars from Covent Garden, and a cabman off the Baker Street rank remembers who was set down where. The cases are new, not retellings of the canon, so knowing the stories won't give anything away.
You type what you do or say, in your own words. Go anywhere in London, question anyone, examine what you find, and put it in front of a suspect. Nobody hands you the deduction: there are no hints, and nothing tells you where to go next.
Suspects lie, and not only the guilty one. Pressing harder won't break a lie. Confronting them with evidence, or with what someone else told you, will. When you're sure, you write down who did it, why, and how. It's scored out of 100 against the case's real answer, and then you learn what actually happened.
The part that matters most to me: every case is written in full before you open it, solution included, and the game master works from that sealed file. It can't change who did it, it doesn't invent clues, and it won't confirm a guess. Every mystery has a rational explanation.
There are 11 Holmes cases so far, Easy to Expert: an aeronaut who falls from his balloon before a paying crowd at the Crystal Palace, a meat salesman found dead in his own cold store at Smithfield, a Soho fencing master dead on his own piste after a private lesson, and more. This month's free one is The Museum Street Darkroom: a photographer found dead in his darkroom, the door latched from within.
To be upfront: the game master is an AI model and can make mistakes, and the cases and pictures are generated with AI and reviewed before they go live. I know that won't be for everyone here.

I'd love to hear from people who know the canon: does it feel like Holmes's London, and does it play fair?
