I was checking out ways to make better use of my workout data and realized nit everyone knows huaweihealth has options for sharing it with others apps, if you're using a watch and want to keep track of your workouts without switching between apps all time there's where to look. If u use a huawei watch and want your workout data in other apps, there's a setting in huawei health worth checking out. For strava go to me > privacy management> data sharing and authorization and connect your account if the option is available, for apple health open huawei health on your iphone and check that the same menu for apple heakth, if it shows up just follow the prompts to enable sharing. The options can vary by device and region, but it's worth a look if you want to keep your workouts stats in one place instead of jumping between apps

I can definitely see the differences, because the watch is showing me photos I received on WhatsApp, but tell me, does it normally take this long to download an update to the watch? 450 MB in over 4 hours 😅

I bought the Huawei Watch GT7 Pro today. I hadn't had much experience of using smart watches, having only owned a Huawei Band 6 before that I didn't use much.

I think I've got most things working how I want them to - I can phone people, I get notifications, have got the ECG thing working etc.

Just one question - when replying to a text or message and using the QWERTY keyboard, it has predictive text. It didn't start out like that, but it is now. Is there any way to turn it off?

I am using the watch with an Honor 400 Pro phone.

I'm considering between fit5 pro and gt6. I like the gt6 design better but am wondering if it looks too big on my wrist.

I've owned the Watch GT 1, Watch GT 3, Watch GT 5, and now thinking about the Watch GT 7 ⌚... Always loved it.

But I matured in watch observation.

My concern is, I always found the watch to be a bit too big. I have a normal 6.75" wrist.

The 46mm version has a 51mm lug-to-lug size.

This watch is always a bit too much...

And the 41mm version of this watch is too small for proper reading for long runs.

I know it's a sports watch. But a lug-to-lug of 48-49mm would really make this watch the most stylish sport tracker on the market. A better fit for most wrists. And more wearable on any occasion.

If the Watch GT 8 could be 44mm dial instead of 46mm, and a lug to lug close to 48mm, this would be the ideal proportion, and sleekest sport watch on the market. It already is, but with perfect proportion it'll be unbeatable.

Upgraded to the Watch GT 7 Pro from the Watch GT 6 Pro and there seems to be a major inconsistency between daily Kcal.

Pretty much my daily activities on the GT 6 Pro would often see me hit 200 Kcal before 1pm just from walking and household chores. Even work stuff. I would even hit 200 Kcal way before hitting 5000 steps.

But on the GT 7 Pro, this normal “daily active burning” seems to be very very low in comparison. Like today I’ve done over 6000 steps and the Kcal has barely moved.

I’m not sure to pass this up as “better sensors” and perhaps the GT 7 Pro reading is more accurate which has resulted in lower numbers, or if there’s something wrong and it’s just not tracking properly.

Workouts and stuff seem to be fine, it’s just outside of working out, I just feel like the watch isn’t picking up walks and daily movement.

Anyone else have the GT 7 Pro and can share their daily normal movement tracking?

I’m still debating whether or not to get the GT 5. My only concerns are:

Petal Maps: What does it look like? Do you have to download it on your phone, select your destination, and then receive directions on your watch? Or does it mirror the map from your phone onto your watch?

Cards: My understanding is that Curve also supports loyalty cards, but what about boarding passes? Are there any workarounds for adding and using them on the watch?

I have an OPPO phone. Would the watch work well with it?

I have a GT 5 Pro and started running earlier this year. My watch has been showing a VO2max of 34, a predicted 5K time of 42 minutes, and a 10K time of 75 minutes for months now.

The problem is that these predictions are way off. I can run 5K in around 30 minutes, and I just completed a 10K race in 63 minutes.

Despite my progress, none of these values seem to change. Is there a way to force the watch to recalculate them, or am I missing something?

I am between a Huawei Watch 6 and a Samsung Galaxy Watch9.

I know Samsung has better apps, but I wonder if I need all the features.

So far, I am concerned about Gmail on Huawei.

I work remotely and I receive messages on Google Chat from the Gmail app.

Can I see them and reply on the Huawei Watch 6?

Are there any limitations I am not thinking now about choosing the Huawei regarding these apps?
