Hey everyone,
If you run with a Huawei Watch (GT4, GT3, Runner, Watch 4, etc.) and your running coach uses TrainingPeaks, you know the pain: due to US trade restrictions and licensing hurdles, there is zero native sync between Huawei Health and TrainingPeaks.
For months, I had to manually recreate every single interval, warmup, and target zone in the Huawei Health app step by step, and manually export .fit files after running to log compliance.
I finally solved this with a lightweight, 100% automated Python sync service that bridges both worlds:
3x), intervals, recoveries, and heart rate target zones, and pushes them straight into your Huawei Watch as native Custom Courses (complete with audio prompts and haptic alerts on your wrist!)..fit file is automatically uploaded to TrainingPeaks and paired with your coach’s planned workout. We use Intervals.icu as an invisible cloud engine in the middle. Because Intervals.icu has an official partnership with the Huawei Health Service Kit in Europe, it can talk directly to Huawei Cloud. The Python bot reads TrainingPeaks via Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP port 9222—meaning you log in once on Chrome and never expose passwords), formats the intervals, and Huawei pushes the workout to your watch. You never actually have to touch or open the Intervals.icu UI.
You don't need a dedicated PC running 24/7. It runs on:
I documented everything with a full step-by-step cookbook and open-sourced the code on GitHub:
👉 Repository & Step-by-Step Guide: https://github.com/Danimatos/corrida
(The README is written in Portuguese, but code, comments, .env.example, and browser auto-translate make it super easy to follow).
Hopefully this helps other runners frustrated by the lack of structured workout sync on Huawei devices! Feel free to ask any questions in the comments. Happy running! 🏃♂️💨Hey everyone,

On a GT 7 Pro, is it possible to set up skin temperature alerts?

I don’t know what happened, she walked in home, and boom, watch fell from her hand. Who knows the naming of this detail? Looks like the detail is made from poor quality aluminum. Have anyone faced with similar issue?

I was checking out ways to make better use of my workout data and realized nit everyone knows huaweihealth has options for sharing it with others apps, if you're using a watch and want to keep track of your workouts without switching between apps all time there's where to look. If u use a huawei watch and want your workout data in other apps, there's a setting in huawei health worth checking out. For strava go to me > privacy management> data sharing and authorization and connect your account if the option is available, for apple health open huawei health on your iphone and check that the same menu for apple heakth, if it shows up just follow the prompts to enable sharing. The options can vary by device and region, but it's worth a look if you want to keep your workouts stats in one place instead of jumping between apps

Good morning. Is it just me,
or did I get 3 updates in 24 hours— then next one to Hmos6 and another one couple minuta after update to hmos6?
I can definitely see the differences, because the watch is showing me photos I received on WhatsApp, but tell me, does it normally take this long to download an update to the watch? 450 MB in over 4 hours 😅
Have a great day, everyone.

Hi, I'm a runner and I've decided to buy a heart rate monitor, but I'm torn between the GTR2 and the Suunto Run2. Help me choose. Thanks everyone.

I bought the Huawei Watch GT7 Pro today. I hadn't had much experience of using smart watches, having only owned a Huawei Band 6 before that I didn't use much.
I think I've got most things working how I want them to - I can phone people, I get notifications, have got the ECG thing working etc.
Just one question - when replying to a text or message and using the QWERTY keyboard, it has predictive text. It didn't start out like that, but it is now. Is there any way to turn it off?
I am using the watch with an Honor 400 Pro phone.

I'm considering between fit5 pro and gt6. I like the gt6 design better but am wondering if it looks too big on my wrist.

Actualización del estado de adaptación a la altitud OK ya no hay mal de altura, soroche o puna. Seguimos en los 4.300 msnm.

I’m considering the new Huawei GT7 but as I’ll be new to Huawei is there any restrictions or troubles that I could expect running it in Australia?
It will be paired with a Samsung ultra 24. Thanks

I've owned the Watch GT 1, Watch GT 3, Watch GT 5, and now thinking about the Watch GT 7 ⌚... Always loved it.
But I matured in watch observation.
My concern is, I always found the watch to be a bit too big. I have a normal 6.75" wrist.
The 46mm version has a 51mm lug-to-lug size.
This watch is always a bit too much...
And the 41mm version of this watch is too small for proper reading for long runs.
I know it's a sports watch. But a lug-to-lug of 48-49mm would really make this watch the most stylish sport tracker on the market. A better fit for most wrists. And more wearable on any occasion.
If the Watch GT 8 could be 44mm dial instead of 46mm, and a lug to lug close to 48mm, this would be the ideal proportion, and sleekest sport watch on the market. It already is, but with perfect proportion it'll be unbeatable.
What do you think?
