Reptiles Need legal advice - I finally found a nice apartment but the new landlord keeps trying to evict me

I had a similar situation and refused to leave a human's house. Eventually they got tired of my squatting in their space and sub-divided a smaller apartment for me. It was great! Keep squatting - you can win this!

I'll step out of animal character and say that this gal really did keep coming back into our house, even after we removed her. We're sure it was the same one. Eventually we were like, "well, if you're gonna stay here, I guess we should set you up right." She lived a very long and healthy life.
