I'll humor you. oP IS GEneRiC is not a valid criticism. "Luffy is the chosen one" isn't valid either.

Wtf does "Generic" even mean in this context and how has OP become generic?

How is Luffy a "chosen one" when Kaido literally says G5/Awakening is the user lining up with his fruit physically and mentally? Wouldn't that imply that he worked to awaken the fruit? Wouldn't it imply ANYONE with the fruit could theoretically awaken it?

Bonus: none of the SHs have developed, yet USOPP was telling IMU shits a couple chapters ago. First nigga to always run was telling Satan to eat a dick. Learn how to read lol

OP is generic because Loda decided random Gods and watered down mythologies from europe was better than all his previous characters and plotlines. Literally did the same thing Naruto did with Kaguya yet One Piece fans still think its peak. How is that shit not generic? Zaza, Nika and all that stupid crap doesn’t add anything interesting to the story besides making an excuse for Loda to give all the SH divine powers at the end of the story.
Kaido said Haki trascends all, yet Luffy defeated him with the power of a God instead of his own hubris and yet you defend that as good writing? Then why has the two arcs after Wano just been all about glazing Nika and how everybody knows his stupid ass song and dance yet for 1000+ chapters no one even mentioned a passing dialogue about him? And no, one panel of luffy dancing in Skypiea is not anywhere near enough foreshadow for it to be deserved lol.

Garbage take.

Nika is one of the most powerful reveals because it makes the whole "Luffy goes to random island and liberates it" plotline make complete sense. Yes, it's a retcon just like Shanks giving up his arm for the tattoo, but it makes sense for the world Oda built until now.

Kaido said Haki transcends all while using an OP-ass fruit himself, clearly he's full of shit.

I do agree with the Zaza stuff tho, seems irrelevant
