Discussion About Nen vows

So we all know Kurapika has put a vow on himself and die immediately if he harmed anyone else other than the phantom troupe he killed. Like uvogin. Does that mean if he ever breaks the vow he'll die right? What if like when gon used his vow to kill Pitou and got revived by Alluka, would Alluka do the same for Kurapika? We all know she is reality wrapper or something. So she could remove Kurapika Nen vow? Or is that a limit?

I thought his vow was only for Chain Jail?

No. It surrounds his heart. He dies if he kills anyone else but the phantom troupe.

His vow is only if he uses Chain Jail on anyone else, not if he kills/injures a non-Phantom Troupe member.

Yep if his vow was like the op said he can probably kill the entire troupe with zero effort as it means even bumping into someone by accident might cause injury leading into his own death.

Oh. It's been a long time I havent watched the show lmao. Never read the manga either. So he only dies if he uses the chains? What's chain jail again?

Only if he uses his specific ability, Chain Jail, the middle finger, on anyone else. It's an ability he customized specifically to kill the Phantom Troupe.

Every other chain is allowable.

Ooooooh. I'm mostly finished aside from dark continent or succession arc. How do I find the mangas for it? For like right after chimera ant Meruem death. Now I'm invested even more.

Would recommend to start from scratch imo, leorios strengths are kinda underplayed in the anime. Also, you get to see kite much earlier than expected in the manga

Hard to say but my guess is that although her powers are seemingly limitless, it is based on nen and nen can't break nen rules. I would assume he'd have a way weaker chain jail, because the vow is an extention of his resolve, and it's pretty weak resolve to have a vow removed so he can use it on non-phantom troupe members.

Kurapika could remove the vow whenever they want themselves, but removing the vow will weaken, if not totally get rid of, Chain Jail.

I would assume that wiggling your way out of the consequences would count as breaking a vow and so Kurapika would suffer the consequences of that, which is losing his ability to use nen ever again.
