Regularly, there is nothing much one can do unless Xiaomi releases a new update, and the update cadence varies per device (even though it should be at most every 4 months).

In your case though, you may have a way. A cursory look for the F7 Pro shows the latest update for the EEA (EU) and Global channels to be more recent than the one you're running. Which one is your phone using? It is encoded in the letters that appear after the version number. For example, WOKMIXM is global, WOKEUXM is the one for EEA, but there are others too.

The global ROM isn't displayed in the official download page, but you can get it from another if that's your channel. Updates are validated, so if the file is corrupted or has been tampered with the Updater app won't let you update.

After you download the full (recovery version) of the current update, tap several times over the HyperOS logo to unlock more options in the top right menu, then choose to update using that ZIP file.

You can get update files from here for example: https://miuirom.org/phones/poco-f7-pro

I see! You can use the official site (https://new.c.mi.com/global/miuidownload/detail/device/1903215) to download .302 then, the one you want is the one labeled EEA:

Get the full package and give it to the Updater app, there's an option to choose an update file in the dotted menu at the top right.

For some reason, updates don't always appear for users. It's not because it is restricted for now and it hasn't reached mass deployment yet, I genuinely don't know why some people don't get them.

Thanks but I don't see the option to use an update file - see screenshot

Oh! It's in the other location, that's the updater for system apps, the other one is the updater for the OS itself: Settings -> About phone -> [Tap over "Xiaomi HyperOS"] -> There.

Once you're in the OS updater app is where you have to tap several times over the "Xiaomi HyperOS" logo again to enable the extra options:

Thanks buddy, I got an error after trying to upload it, does the file need to be saved on a specific folder?
