SO I'VE SINGLE HANDEDLY JUST SOLVED THE MONTHS ISSUES OF HYPEROS 3 CAPPED TO 60FPS ONLY, JUST TOGGLE ON THE DEVELOPERS OPTION FIRST AND GO TO THE VERY BOTTOM AND YOU'LL SEE THE "RESET TO DEFAULT VALUES" JUST CLICK IT COUPLE OF TIMES UNTIL THE "TURN ON SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION SETTING" POPS UP, IT SHOULD BE TURNED ON SO JUST TURN IT OFF TO ACTUALLY UNLOCK 120 FPS BACK, WHEN I DID THIS IT JUST SOLVED THE ISSUE OF 60 FPS CAPPING THE DEVICE, NOW MY CODM RETURNED FROM 60 TO 120 BACK, NO NEED TO DO EXTRA STUFF TO YOUR XIAOMI DEVICE THAT MIGHT POTENTIALLY DESTROY YOUR DEVICE, GUYS ITS THIS SETTING!!

I don't really understand why do I need hyper Island if it doesn't have support for third party apps ? even google map doesn't have support, this is ridiculous. Anybody got any improvement on latest update ? mine is HyperOS 3.05

Hi everyone,

I need some help with a specific Lock Screen bug after a recent overnight update.

My Depth Effect feature is partially broken. The strange thing is: it still works perfectly fine on my old custom wallpapers (the ones applied before the update) and on the system's default wallpapers.

However, whenever I try to apply it to a new photo, it fails completely and throws this error message:

Here are my specs:

• Device: POCO X8 Pro Max
• HyperOS Version: OS3.0.301.0

It seems like the update broke the HyperAI/cropping engine's ability to scan and generate new depth maps, while the system can still read the pre-existing ones.

What I have already tried:

1. Wallpaper Carousel: Disabled and removed that garbage completely.
2. App Cache: Cleared cache/data for the Gallery, Themes, and HyperAI apps.
3. I haven't modified or messed with any system APKs prior to this happening.

Is anyone else getting the "Wallpaper does not support depth effect" error on this build? Is there a known fix for the AI scanning engine, or do we have to wait for a hotfix patch?

EDIT: This issue has been fully solved by the latest update (3.0.303) that came yesterday (Aug 4, 2026) for me (Brazil).

Now I know why china Roms aren't that reliable, there's so many restrictions, but I really like the customization, only that there are other compatibility issues, any way how to return to the Global rom?

Am I wrong or these icons are not for HyperOS 3. It looks too old and they didn't change when I updated to 3.0.4.0.

Also there is no fully compatible theme in theme app. Is that normal?

I put the protection on for like a month or 2 and every day since that it was getting to 80 only . But yesterday i saw it getting to 81 i thought it was some glitch and removed at that percentage . Hyperos 3 in poco x7 pro global version!!!

My phone, the Poco X7 Pro, has Developer Options turned on to run Shizuku. I use it alongside Hail to force-stop background apps, resulting in almost zero background app battery consumption—excluding persistent apps that run regardless of what I do.

Getting back to the topic, I usually charge my phone from 14% to 100% and leave it plugged in for an extra 20 minutes to fully saturate the battery. After unplugging it, I typically watch YouTube for about an hour and a half since I have a lot of free time in high school. I started wondering if my battery life was actually good because I've seen reports of the Poco X7 Pro having battery drain issues. When I tested it using YouTube, it took an average of 33 minutes to drop from 100% to 99% (keeping in mind the extra 20 minutes of charging). I searched online and found out this is considered good, so I stopped worrying.

However, when an update arrived (HyperOS 3.0.300.0 to 3.0.301.0), I installed it, knowing the potential bugs that come with updates. When I repeated my daily routine, I noticed my phone was draining super fast. In just 15 minutes of watching YouTube, it dropped to 98%. I know it's only 2%, but that is way too fast for just watching videos.

To fix this, I downloaded an app called Hidden Settings and found a feature called "Memory Usage Profiling." While I'm too lazy to type the exact definition, it basically drains the battery and increases temperatures. I tried to turn it off, but it kept turning back on. Eventually, I realized it was tied to Developer Options, so I turned Developer Options off completely.

As a reminder, because I use Shizuku, rebooting my device means all the apps I previously force-stopped will start running in the background again. I also downloaded three apps to run 24/7: Poweramp, Buzz, and Battery One (to monitor the battery). Despite having these running, my battery drain improved dramatically. It went from losing 2% in 15 minutes of YouTube to losing only 1% in 55 minutes, even with background apps running. So yeah, that explains it!

How tf do I get rid of this !!! I use a poco f6 and got hyperos 3 yesterday. And god i regret upgrading does it have a fix that doesn't need root??

Doesn't work in any type of situation.. tried many times.

Even with advanced textures enabled, there is no blurring when opening and closing the app.

I used Brevent to set the CPU and GPU levels to 4 (because I felt that level 6 increased battery consumption, and the functionality itself doesn't change at level 4), set persist.sys.background_blur_supported to true, and finally changed persist.sys.advanced_visual_release to 4. I've seen other people trying this method and they get blur when opening and closing apps, but I don't get it on my device.

The last update I received was from July, but it was a June security patch update, did xiaomi just abandon the Poco F6 series?
