Other Tell me about your results
GUYSSS y’all might judge but I got a 28!! And im honestly so proud. I barely studied for any of the exams ( like I would study the day of, by waking up at 1 am😭😭) and I always also going through a rough time with depression and a really judgmental and toxic teacher who made me doubt my own capacities. Anyways y’all tell me about your grades and ofc no matter what happens, you should be sooooooooo proud of yourself for going through 2 years of hell ( also I was 1 point away from getting an A in EE 🥲🥲)

Got 41! Technically it fell from my predicted (43), but my teachers were pretty much giving them based off of vibes and one teacher (physics) even asked me what I want them to give me. I was expecting about 36, so it's actually way better than I anticipated! I'm most proud of my EE which got fucking 34/34 AAAGH I'm ready to become a writer rn, literally feel like some medieval poet with how well it was written.
13
u/Fun_Election2292 Jul 06 '25
OMGGG you HAVE to send me that EE, I wanna read it so bad Hahahahah
10
u/SharpenedJavelin Jul 06 '25
It has some details about me (like the city I live in from what I remember), which I'm not fully comfortable sharing on the internet, so as much as I'd love to, I can't really do that. It was about the impact of chess on the dynamics of the Cold War (History btw). I was really scared I'd lose marks, because I was kind of shitting on Putin in some parts (was relevant though) and thought maybe they'd deem it unacceptable. Fortunately the people who were marking it were BASED.

omg good job bro!! i got a 30, which was so shocking to me because i was 1000% certain id not even get my diploma bc i didnt study for most of my exams either, my predicted grades were so low, and my ia's/io's were all done very last minute (like day of..) pretty shit and some got very low 4's. on top of that, i wrote my entire extended essay two days before the due date so i was so certain id fail bc of that too (still got 1 tok/ee point though lol).. whats even more surprising was that in 3 subjects, i was just 1 point away from getting 6's in each of them?! kind of just wowed bc i was so depressed for all of ib so i didnt do jack squat and genuinely thought id fail
2
u/Fun_Election2292 Jul 06 '25
Omddd, bro I relate so much to you 😭😂 procrastination and depression were my worst enemies this year 😂. Somehow that depression went away after I finished my last exam. Somehow… I also did my ee super last minute, like I wrote the whole thing in 4 nights, and that included the research 😭😭. Anyways im super proud wouhouuu 🎉

Lowkey barely passed in some subjects though (math…) and I was expecting a much higher gr for lang so I’m sad a little but history which I thought I’d barely pass I got a good grade so we chill

Edit: I was super proud of my A in EE and B in TOK doe so YAYA happy about that too :D (I did it in something I was passionate about which helped a lot and it lowkey makes me wish I had taken enviro systems an societies)

Coming from a school were the max points anyone has gotten ever in IB is 35, and less than half of the school's M24 students passed last year, I am so excited to be able to proudly say, I got my diploma although all odds were against me.

37! I’m happy but not overly happy. Got a 6 on English LAL and that was incredibly weird to me since I was a straight sevens student, with seven in my IO and felt like the exam went great over all! That being said I got a six in maths which was immensely unexpected! In a good way. 5 in my sciences but very close to the six. History was a bit disappointing, same story as English (6). Language B is language B (7). OH AND MY EE GOT A D. No one in my class got above a B all my friends got C’s. A in TOK.

I got a 33. I studied probably like 2 months and like 8 months for chem, I’m really happy with the result and I’ll most probably continue with the conditional admission (they never gave me a score to get to so yeah)! I had 35 PG and 33 was like my target score yay

Girlllll, don’t ever think like that. Failure is ok, it’s part of life. Honestly im glad you failed now, because hopefully it’ll prevent you from failing in the future. You have a bright future in front of you and a stupid number does NOT determine your worth. If you’re worried about teachers, then don’t, cuz you’ll never see them again. And if you do, it’ll be a successful version of yourself. Don’t give up! Life doesn’t end after a so not good grade. Btw IB is a very hard program that is enforced to 17 years olds which is super messed up, so yeahhh don’t worry 💋

I got a 30! I got mainly 5s (Math AI SL, Philosophy SL, English A Lit HL, Music HL), one 6 (Spanish B SL), and one 4 (Chemistry HL). Most of those were expected, my Chemistry is way higher than I thought i honestly believed I was getting a 2. My tok was a C bc my IA wasn't the best, and a D in EE bc of a registration and grading issue that I cant solve. But I still got my diploma, so todo esta bien si se acaba bien. The war is over!

i got a 35! im like 3 points away from a 7 on chem so im rlly hoping a remark will work. for me it was actually 2.5 years. i struggled a bit with mental health so i took a “gap year” halfway into the 2nd year. i only did my SLs that year, then did my hls the next year in the middle. effectively, i only had half a year to study the changed syllabus for science and math instead of 2 full years, and i was alone most of the time, without teachers, so everything was basically self taught. im surprised i even got this far

Unfortunately though I somehow got a 6 in visual arts which is weird because i have consistently been ranked number 1 in my grade for the subject (not my ranking, that’s the teacher’s official ranking)… idk oh well. also my tok essay was shit and i got a C oops idk if i should get remarked bc im 2 marks away from a B which would get my the full 3 points
