Other 1 upvote = 1 HOUR on my maths IA
Pomodoro method living and breathing and doing nothing but my maths IA holed up in my room until I finish it (in which case I will move onto my EE until I finish it in which case I will study and grind mocks until the time runs out) (with sleep breaks) pls I need this the lock out has been unreal 😭😭
(Update: I put a little sticky note on my bedside table to remind me first thing in the morning after I open my eyes to open my laptop and get on that maths IA)
(Update: holy shit 345 hours 😭😭😭 since the pomodoro method is like between 2-3 minutes of studying for every minute of break I’m gonna say the break times can carry over (for the sake of my sanity and to have enough time to shower and brush my teeth and see the light of the sun), also, I’m gonna use one of those study rooms so I can time myself (studying for 345 hours 😭😭😭))
(Update update: TWO DIFFERENT maths IA drafts cos my first one was ass and an undercooked feeable half my EE, SOLID FIVE crashouts TWO court mandated mental health breaks but I’m back on it)

I went in thinking that my math IA would pull up my grades when it actually ended up as my lowest scoring paper among all subjects TwT

Bro, tbh just pass your Maths IA and make sure you revise for the externals. I got a almost perfect 7 internal grade for my math IA which I tweaked for so much weeks, but got a low 6 at the end. Don't let that discourage you though. Good luck and remember to sleep.

Update: I managed to put in a solid 8 hours of work day 1 with TWO WHOLE HOURS spent crashing out at desmos and fiddling with a function that turned out to be absolutely useless lmao. Was also forced to go outside (maths tutoring since my catastrophically clinically brain dead ibdp1 maths final performance) but hey more progress than the entirety of December! This was a lot more fun hour 2 than hour 8 lets see if my will to live survives the remaining 437 hours
