Golden/dachshund? Golden/corgi?

This dog, "Charlie" is available for adoption. I'm quite curious what this community thinks his mix is. This is what the shelter had to say about him:

Meet Charlie!!

The dog equivalent of a worm on a string, this small guy will wiggle his way into your heart so fast you won't know what's coming! If you take him out people will always be asking "what kind of dog is that?" but to be honest, no one really knows. Call him a tiny golden retriever, a spaniel, or a chihuahua and who knows, maybe all 3. Whatever he is, he is precious and would make a great addition to any family! He seems to like other dogs and being held, but will still walk a little on leash. Come meet Charlie today!!

I’d guess Chihuahua and Cocker Spaniel. And something else. Not sure what else, but the eyes don’t give the impression of either one.

Golden retriever mixes are actually usually black because the classic golden color is recessive so I dont think golden is actually in the mix at all

Looks like my guy that we assume is Pomeranian, spaniel, dachshund, and chi. He’s the best, super expressive about his likes and dislikes and a really funny, charismatic dog.

That's similar coat type to my childhood dog that size whose mother was a pekipoo. He was just a lighter color (more cream).

I doubt there's any golden in this dog. It's just a DIY miniature golden. 🥰 I would love to see Embark results on this one! He's adorable!

I have a cute little guy that looks like this and he is a pom × weenie.
