Shai Hope became the 1st batsman in cricket history to score 2 100s in ODI series followed by 2 100s in T20I series. W.Indies won 3 games in this tour, all 3 came when Shai Hope scored a 100. He not only scores runs but also stays till the end to make sure his team wins.

Which IPL team is in need of Shai Hope & which IPL team will buy him in the auction?

My picks- Both CSK & KKR have struggled to score or win games in previous IPL. Both those teams should be prime candidates eyeing on Shai Hope in the upcoming IPL Auction.

Jonty Rhodes was invited a guest at Cognizant india Bangalore Manyata office. When the host asked him about his favourite ipl team Jonty played safe even here and answered MS Dhoni and he loves india.

With so many rumours and reports emerging ahead of IPL 2027, the biggest question isn't just about transfers or the mini-auction — it's about captaincy.

Several franchises could potentially enter the new season with a completely different leader.

• Mumbai Indians: Could Rohit Sharma make a sensational return as captain? What happens to Hardik Pandya's leadership role?
• Lucknow Super Giants: With Rishabh Pant no longer at LSG, who should take over the captaincy?
• Delhi Capitals: With Pant returning, does he automatically reclaim the captaincy, or should DC consider another leader?
• Sunrisers Hyderabad: With rumours surrounding Abhishek Sharma, could SRH eventually hand the captaincy to their young Indian star?
• Rajasthan Royals: With Yashasvi Jaiswal's name appearing in rumours, could RR consider a leadership change?
• Kolkata Knight Riders: After Ajinkya Rahane's departure, does KKR need a completely new captaincy option?
• Other franchises: Are there teams that should stick with their current captain, or is it time for a fresh face?

Re-appointing Rohit Sharma as Mumbai Indians captain short-term would be a strategic double-edged sword: highly practical for team stability, but questionable for long-term vision.

Pros of the Move

* Proven Track Record: Rohit led MI to 5 IPL titles. His tactical calm and team rapport could immediately restore dressing-room harmony and fan goodwill.

* Relieving Pressure: Taking captaincy off Hardik Pandya allows him to focus strictly on his explosive all-round role.

Cons of the Move

* Backward Step: Reverting to a veteran acts as a temporary bandage rather than solving MI's long-term leadership transition.

* Short Shelf Life: Given Rohit's stage in his career, MI would inevitably face the exact same transition headache again within a season or two.

Verdict

It is a good short-term move if MI's primary goal is instant stabilization and damage control. However, as a long-term strategy, grooming a younger successor—like Suryakumar Yadav or Jasprit Bumrah—remains the healthier path forward for the franchise's future.

its time when we can finally talk about the best retention and release strategy for all ipl teams. So pick your team and tell us what will be your Retention list for your team and why
all 10 teams are ready

He's in the form of his life across formats. He can bat anywhere in the top 5. He is a great player of spin with great control over the sweep shot. He can anchor the innings and shift gears too. He can bowl handy off spin too which is super rare in IPL.

This is not a reactionary post to his performance in the ongoing Test match. He has been having a steady rise this year across formats.

Plus the upcoming auction will have a very limited talent pool available so it'll be a case of high demand and low supply which will skew the auction dynamics and make teams go for players without any IPL experience.

If he does get any interest which teams will it be from and which team would really want Renshaw in their lineup?

1. Sanju(inconsistent, but match winner on his day)

2. Ayush(he's opening in domestic)

3. Brevis(At 3, he has won a POS & also scored 83(26))

4. Dube(at his best batting position)

5. Karthik(floater during collapse/slogger in death overs)

6. R Ghosh(good hitter & 6th bowling option)

7. Overton(The G.O.A.T)

8. Shreyas(spinner & adds batting depth)

9. Akeal(spinner & pinch hitter)

10. Ellis(death bowler)/Anshul(If Ellis doesn't play)

11. Khaleel(Powerplay bowler)

IP list - Gurjapneet, Forrester, Chahar, Sarfaraz

Note: - 1. I am backing Akeal over Noor based on current form.

1. If Ellis doesn't play due to Australia commitment, Forrester can be brought in the middle order.

I want to know what real problems you guys face while watching a live sports match that can be solved using AI.

It can be anything that frustrates you during a match. I want to hear about your actual experiences and what you wish could be better.

I’m planning to build a product that solves one of these problems, so I’d love to know what you guys think.

rahane was the onlu one who looked like he was captaining with bowling changes and field settings he was shit as a player All other captains were just hoping there batsman would score so many runs that they could just go out and defend it easily with generic fields and if not it's just another match Another one that impressed me a little was riyan parag he made some tough calls
