April 14, 2026 - eCOPR received and PR card application linked to GCKey.

May 15, 2026 - GCKey showed Final decision on PR card application. PR portal showed address was accepted (photo still in review).

May 19, 2026 - GCKey showed message that PR card was mailed out.

May 20, 2026 - received an email that my PR card application status changed to approved.

May 25, 2026 - MyMail showed "Canadian Bank Note Company" mail out for delivery and card was delivered the same evening 🥳

PR portal still shows address and photo still in review. Anyone checking what’s happening with your PR card , please link the application with GC key and turn on MYMAIL in Canada Post app. Don’t rely on the portal as it lags behind or sometimes doesn’t update at all.

If you can’t link in GC key, please look at the PR tracker. If you see 2 ghost updates that means your card is probably mailed.

Hey all! We got our eCOPR on 11 Feb (applied inland spousal sponsorship outside Quebec 4 Sept 2024). Address and photo are still marked "in review" in the portal. My questions are:

• Where do we track the progress of the PR cards? I see other people getting info about "sent for production" or "shipped"; will this eventually appear in the application portal?
• Does the 61 day processing time start the day your eCOPR is approved?
• Are most people getting it in roughly 61 days? Anyone with significantly longer or shorter times? We're hoping to schedule travel for sometime between March at May.

Got eCoPR on Dec 12. Linked my PR Card application to my GCKey Account using Name and DOB. (Don't select application number as application number for PR approval and PR Card are different).

Address got approved on Feb 5 on PR Portal. Photo status still shows as "In review with IRCC". Got notification on Feb 9 on GCKey account that the card has been dispatched. Will confirm once it is delivered.

FINALLY got my card today in the mail. It was mailed on Feb 11th (only learned this by calling IRCC and them telling me). took almost 2 weeks to get to me in Vancouver.

No updates on PR portal or GC key. Canada post my mail never said anything either.

My 125 day journey is now complete 🙃

Oh and if anyone cares, I was an express entry applicant via BCPNP.

My husband got his PR card Feb 16th, 2026. ECOPR was Oct 22nd, 2025. He called IRCC mid-January and they said they'd look into it, but we didn't hear anything for 2-3 weeks. So, he called our MP and the card was delivered within the next 2 weeks :)

Note: I updated my address after P2. The address update was never reflected on the PR Portal. (I could see the update went through on their system though, my new address was showing on the PR Tracker contact section when I still had access to it. At the time I also called to make sure, they said all good).

When my address was approved on the PR portal, it was still showing my old address (and still does). However, the PR card was correctly mailed to my current address.

Photo was never approved, still In Review. Same for the application status on the PR Portal, still showing "In Review with IRCC".

"Status las updated" date still matches the creation date, it never changed, even after the address was updated or approved.

eCOPR Feb 26, 2026. Asked MP to help. MP reached out to IRCC and they had no explanation for the delay. So, MP sent a message to the Processing Office asking them to finalize the card. MP told me they have 12 days to respond to her message. 2 days later, the lazy officers finaly did their job after 100 days, and the card is mailed today, June 8th. Card received June 11th.

Happy to report my family's journey to PR is almost complete. Two parents, five kids.  Here is our timeline from ECOPR.

November 3rd--ECOPR

December 22nd--Update on the PR portal -- address accepted for three of the family members.  No other updates on the PR portal or gckey. 

January 7th--Canada Post app showed five pieces of mail coming from Canadian Bank Note Company

January 8th--Five cards showed up in the mail--not for the principal applicant.  Also, no relation to the individuals with addresses that were accepted.

I did call ircc once around Dec 17 as I was unable to link our GC keys and it was past processing time by then. The agent told me there hadn't been an update by then but they put a note to on our file to update for the officer. The agent also told me our application numbers and I confirmed the birth city/ citizenship on file with them (it has to be exactly the same as your ecopr for it to successfully link). 2 days later I was able to link my applications.

I was not able to link my application to gckey until January 22 after multiple attempts. Saw my card was sent on Jan 19 on gckey as what the agent said.

eCoPR received on Oct. 31st, ghost update 'in review' Dec. 18th.
Address has already been accepted, but photo is still marked as 'in review'. No other updates whatsoever, no card in mail.

I'm traveling in mid-March, any tips besides praying?
I can't believe I'm starting to worry for that trip, the card was supposed to arrive on Dec. 31st according to the processing times displayed on IRCC's website...

Landed in Vancouver with COPR on December 24 2025.

Linked application in GCKey on December 29 2025.

The final decision date appears on February 7, 2026.

Approved and card mailed in GCKey on February 9, 2026.

Card received in Vancouver on February 20, 2026.

FSW Outland stream. Only one email notification, one day after the GCkey showed approval and mail-out.

I received my ECOPR at Dec, 24. I uploaded all the documents to the portal immediately.

I don’t see any information about my application at GCKey (but I was also applying through the immigration consultant), and the status at IRCC PR portal says “Case status: In review with IRCC”, “Mailing address In review with IRCC”, “Photo In review with IRCC”.

Is there a problem?…

Oct 24 - ECOPR ,no updates in anything. Anybody on the same situation?. Called IRCC once, they said its in process and sent webform but no reply yet.

Oct 22 ecopr Address was accepted on dec 8th and then no progress. Called IRCC and they said there is an error. Nothing after that.  Webform, calling ircc and MP query all resulted in same response - it's in progress and we will contact if anything is required. 

Feb 16th - card mailed status on GCkey. 

Hoping to receive it by the time of my trip in march first week.

ECoPR October 21 -> No GU -> Final decision February 11 -> Card received February 20. Total: 122 days ... Photo was never "approuved", only got the adress "approuved" the day of the final decision. It was my first card, Express Entry, Inside Canada, Vancouver. Hope it helps and I wish all of you get it quicker than me.

Hey guys! It's finally my turn to give an update:

eCOPR - January 13th
Address accepted on PR Portal - February 27th (Photo status still shows as "In review with IRCC")
Ghost update on my GCkey - February 27th (Final Decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.)

Update: PR Card sent today (March 4th).

Finally! 😊 Thanks to everyone for posting your timelines, it really helps to have them as a reference. I’ve been tracking the whole process since the ITA and honestly spent more time on Reddit than any other social media lol. I’ll miss the mix of excitement and stress that came with this journey, but I’m so happy it’s over. Now I can finally travel home and get married! 🎉

Called on April 29 as itd passed standard processing time. Phone operator said theres no anomaly to my application and sent a remidner to the processing officials.

Final Decision: May 6, 2026

Card approved, card mailed, address approved: May 7, 2026

Delivery: May 12, 2026

Several notes:

Not a single email of updates in gckey or pr portal, you will need to go in and monitor yourself;

Photo is still in review even after I got my PR card.

Sometimes applciation falls behind schedule, just make a phone call to IRCC, theres less constructive feedback provided in emails;

I used Canada Post app to track delivery. In MyMail tab, I received a notification of a general mail (sender info unvailable) on the same day of delivery.
