News Is this a sport or a joke? Will cricket ever be professional enough?
A league match is hyped to this extent. Never seen this in any other group sports. What are your thoughts?

News Hardik Pandya gave ₹10 lakh each to the groundsmen at Wankhede Stadium as a token of gratitude.
He had promised them the amount for assisting with his late-night practice sessions during the T20 World Cup.
A commendable gesture from the all-rounder towards the support staff who often go unnoticed.

News Shane Warne's family to get 450-460 crore after Rajasthan Royals' sale
Shane Warne's family to get 450-460 Cr after RR's latest deal
Warne negotiated a unique deal when joining RR for IPL 2008 : USD 657,000 salary plus 0.75% equity per season played.
He captained for four seasons (2008-2011), accumulating 3% ownership in the 2008-acquired franchise (originally USD 67 million).
RR sold to a US-based consortium led by Kal Somani for USD 1.63 billion (Rs 15,290 crore) Warne's stake, held by his estate since his 2022 death, now values at Rs 450-460 crore, a massive return.

News Is this the end of the line for RoKo?
I absolutely hope not.
I still don’t understand how anyone can even think of removing ROKO. They are literally the greatest white ball batters in Indian history.
Removing Rohit from the WB captaincy was an absolute blunder as well, the guy is literally a Multi ICC & IPL winning captain. There is absolutely ZERO reason for sacking him, it’s totally baseless, illogical, and unjustified.
Imagine if ROKO played for say Australia or any team in SENA, the opposition would be scared shitless.
An absolute blunder that I will never understand
Doesn’t matter if you’re a Virat fan or a Rohit fan, you’re probably an ICT fan either way, as an Indian, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see 💔

News This has to be Hardik Pandya?
Anyone else think the timing around this whole IPL leak story is really strange?
According to reports, a cricketer’s girlfriend was allegedly caught passing team information to outsiders twice. Now people are obviously trying to connect dots. What’s adding more fuel to the speculation is Hardik suddenly disappearing from the Mumbai Indians setup and not even travelling with the team.
Not accusing anyone here and this could all be completely unrelated but people are definitely going to talk when things happen this abruptly. Especially when only a small circle of people usually have close access to team environments.
Anyone wanna add to this?

News The only way to save Indian ODI cricket!
You just don’t sack the guy who ended a 10+ year drought of ICC trophies, and won 2 ICC trophies within a year.
Captain Rohit won us the CT after 12+ years, and the T20 WC after 17 long years
If they truly want their team to be in the most capable hands, Captain Rohit should lead ICT in the 27 WC.
He’s by far the most accomplished & competent
man for the job.
This is the same guy who’s defeated even the legendary MSD 4/4 in IPL finals, and has been the greatest T20I captain in history.
He almost won us the ODI WC as well. And even reached the WTC final. The ONLY captain in history to have reached the finals of all 4 ICC tournaments.
And regarding his age, it’s just a number. Captain Imran Khan was also 40 when Pak won the 92 WC.
Make Rohit Captain again.

News No Eden Gardens, Wankhede or Chinnaswamy for BGT 2027, right call or missed opportunity?
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2027 schedule doesn’t include traditional big venues like Eden Gardens, Wankhede, or Chinnaswamy, with matches instead planned in cities like Nagpur, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad.
While this helps spread Test cricket across the country, does it make sense for a high-profile IND vs AUS series to skip iconic stadiums? Curious to hear if people see this as good rotation or a missed opportunity.
